2nd. He hates it, I hate it. We're miserable.

His one good friend from the last two years moved this year, and he was being picked on. The kid finally turned it physical, and I was trying to stay out of it. After Thomas finally kicked this boy back it was solved. So far, things are good in that department... *knocks on wood*

He hates doing homework, it's a battle each day. And no matter what he fights me on his subtraction if it is a problem where he has to borrow from the 10s spot or the 100s spot..

He is supposed to read 20 minutes a day, but often skips and then has to read 40-60 minutes the next time, which is fine, but now that he finished all 7 diary of a wimpy kid books, he just wants to re-read them, and the boy needs to read something else.

Both his reading and math levels were at the top of the class at the end of first, and now he's slacking.. Add in that he has the absolute worst handwriting of the class... We're just all frustrated.....
