Card cake box. I left it pretty plain because Grandma and Grandpa are really simple people and I didnt want to leave thier style.
The candy boxes are chinese take out boxes ( very small) We shredded wrapping paper with the sayings " Love is patient,, love it kind, etc and stuffed boxes. Then there is a peppermint, butterscotch, and wethers because those 3 candies sit in bowls at Grandparents and never run out... EVER! Thank you notes attached and they say " Thank you for adding to the joyful spirit of our special day with your presence" I made the card and stickers to go on boxes.
Grandparents head table with have same all white flowers but in these large sugar, tea, coffee tabled containers.
Then I will have orchids at the sign in table. Which is gonna be a picture frame with a pic of thier wedding and then a pic of them now. People will sign the matting in frame. Oh and another large arrangement for on top of the bar.
Im so excited for our grandparents to come in and see it. I explained a little bit of the details to grandma and she said she was getting very excited now
Awwwww. She also told me the nicest thing.. she said that she and her husband would not know what to do without me, and how they didnt want anyone else handling this party for them. She said because she knew I would do it nice and they could depend on me to get it done right!
I almost started to cry. I have never had grandparents really because mine all died either before I was born or when I was a toddler.
Ok tomorrow I am finishing the frame and the slide show movie we are making.
