breast tenderness

I was wondering exactly what does breast tenderness mean? I mean exactly what is tender??

Well I guess its a bit different for everyone, but for my self it would be
very sore nipples and boobs that are sore to the touch, like wearing a bra hurts and not wearing a bra hurts...

For many women, breasts and nipples are sore - almost feels like you've bruised it - that kind of sore when you touch it. For me, it's just my nipples as wierd as it is!

That's how mine were. I couldn't stand a bra, but not wearing one was worse...

mine were really bad, not sure if it was because i went from a size B to a nearly D in just 1month. I could barely go down the stairs without feeling like my breast where being ripped off and if i turned in bed too quick.. YIKES!!.. major major pain... not just tender.. felt like it once felt when i got punched in my boob at my karate class.

but like the other ladies said.. everyone experiences is different on the pain scale. on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being labor pain), mine was nearly an 8.
