So my husband and I have been laughing for the past few weeks now. When we put Kailee down for the night in her crib we put her all the way at one end with her head near the "top" of the crib. When she wakes up and we go get her, she is on the opposite end of the bed with her feet near the "bottom" of the crib. It is a full size crib and she has been doing this since about 6 weeks. Does anyone else's baby do this??

It seems like an awfully long journey for her... I suppose she schootches her way down there. I wonder if she does it over the course of the night, or when she is waking up. Either way, we SERIOUSLY want to set up the video camera to watch how she does it exactly!

That is very cute! We swaddle our son, so he just moves his head around. I can't wait to see what he does when he is in his full size crib!

We don't have the crib set up yet. But I have watched him scootch a little when I have him down for tummy time.

She does that too during tummy time, but she sleeps on her back. I just cannot imagine how she makes her way down there each night.

Pedro does the same thing but he sleeps on his belly and he tends to just turn in circles. Occationally I've seen him crawl around the crib but mostly just to the edge so that he feels like he's next to someone.

Allison moves around a bunch in her bassinet. Some mornings she'll be kicking the bottom of the bassinet with her feet. It makes her so mad.

We put Jordy in his cot from day 1.

He took well to being in there, all though he was in a "Snuggle Bed" which is an insert that fits into cots to make the space seem a bit smaller.

We had to take this out a few weeks ago, as he grew too long for it.

We have always swaddled Jordy so I guess that helps to make the space seem smaller too.

So now I have just short sheeted the cot so that if he does decide to shimmy somewhere, he isn't going to go very far.

We've never used a bassinet for our Babies, I never saw the point in it as they out grow it too fast. It's just an extra expense that we didn't really need.

All my love,

Zoe & Jordy's Mummy.
