Got My Confirmation!!!!

I had my appt yesterday and everything went great I was measured at 5w 6d today I'm 6 weeks and the heart rate was 104bpm and it took the tech over a 30min to hear but we could see the heart beating away, I also got my prenatal pills and antibiotics for a yeast infection, my seasonal flu shot and H1N1 I will be starting progestrone at 16 weeks, I go back on 12/16/09

I also agreed to participate in a study where I will be getting 6 extra ultrasounds free of charge, gift card and other gifts for the baby the study is to see how babies grow and if things are the same in different nationalities.

Congratulations!

I also got confirmation yesterday - had my first prenatal with my family doc - waiting to do the dating u/s next Wednesday - but everything in my blood and urine tests look A-OKAY! My first appt with the actual obstetrician won't be likely until January. This is the challenge with health care in Ontario - superior care at every turn, but you do have to wait your turn. Our doctor's are fabu!
