:-( My SIL is due in June and she was like, "I can't even eat toast without getting heartburn!"

Fortunately, I haven't started on the heartburn train yet. But you can try drinking milk. I drank milk like cows were an endangered species when I was pregnant with DS!

My last pregnancy just about everything under the sun, water included, gave me heartburn. Tums were my best friend. Oh, and despite the myth that heartburn means a full head of hair she was and still is nearly bald. The only baby I've had that has had hair was from the pregnancy that involved almost no heartburn.

I am so hoping not to get heartburn with this pregnancy. I have had it really bad with some of my kids.

Hi I'm poping in from the september DDC. Hope you ladies don't mind if I join in.
My mother always says if you have heartburn when you are pregnant it means you are having a boy! I don't know how true that is but I know with my son even milk gave my heartburn! This time I can even eat speghetti without getting heartburn. I'm hoping that means it's a girl!

I've had heartburn with all my pregnancies and I have had one girl and one boy and I don't know what this one is yet. So, that old wives tale doesn't hold true for me.

Also, I have a really great heartburn remedy that is all natural. It tastes a lot like tums. It's called Mommy's Bliss Pregnancy Heartburn Comfort. And it works really well and I don't feel bad taking it because it's all natural.

I didn't have heartburn at all with my son, and it was horrendous with my daughter. I took prescription Zantac every day and still had it. This time it started at 6 weeks and I still have it. And that's with the Zantac. And my daughter hardly had any hair till she was 2. lol...

I don't get heartburn, but acid reflux, even with water. I HATE always feeling like something is coming back up. Not even Zantac makes it go away.

That's weird and I'm sorry you're getting it so early and so easily. I get indigestion a good bit.
