Well, I would get a swap done and know what it was. Maybe, because I am dealing with a major issue with my cervix that could be due to infection. You want to treat the right thing and not encourage the growth by using the wrong thing.

Hope this clears up for you soon!

Do you know what kind of infection? If not, then I'd definitely want to get it tested because then the Doc can tell you what is safe for that type of infection. GOod Luck.

I agree, you need to find out what kind of infection it is so you don't make it worse.

Plus some infections can be reoccurring during pregnancy so you'll want to know if you're dealing with something like that.

I agree. I'd get it checked out.

When my midwife put me on some antibiotics, she said Monistat 3 and 7 were both safe if I got a yeast infection.

I do agree that you should get a culture done to be sure that is all it is, though.

? Corn starch? I wouldn't be using any cream or corn starchy anything down there until you have a confirmed diagnosis
