I saw the cardiologist today, and got results from the 30 day heart monitor. I have tachycardia ( pregnancy induced) and was told its ok now, we will keep monitoring it and if neccesary he will prescribe medicine. He wants to not go that route, because the medicine can cause premature birth, low birth weight etc. As far as the way I have been feeling with the high blood pressure, He said that all the sympytoms Ive been having are def. related to my BP being so high. Because it has been happening alot at night, he thinks that bed rest may be a big option for me since it may be from doing stuff all day. I have to talk to my ob next week. If I get any more spurts of really high bp I need to see him sooner.

So Im hoping no bed rest, but that may be the only option, we will see what my ob says on thursday

Well I'm glad you are ok, hopefully you don't have to go on bed rest, but do whatever is healthiest.

Well hopefully you won't have to need meds or bedrest. Try and take it easy as much as you can.

I'm glad you got answers! I found out I have tachycardia last year when I started to exercise more intensely. I thought I had exercise induced asthma but it turns out my heart is just faster than what is considered normal. I really hope you don't have to go on medication or bed rest Keep us posted!
