okay im getting really worried. i see brown discharge when i wipe. I was having mild cramps on and off yesterday during the day but it went away come nighttime and then last night i noticed very little discharge and this morning more than yesterday. theres even little spots in my underwear. My back is also hurting. Im getting really worried bc i havent had any sort of scare like this since i found out i was pg. My doctors is closed on the weekends and they dont have an emergency line, it just says to go to the emergency but i dont wanna go there and wait a really long time if theres nothing and plus SO is at a training so i would have to wait for him or go by myself today. im really scared and worried , i want my lil bean to be okay.

I'm sure you are fine, brown means it's old. you only have to really worry when it's bright red.

keep us posted.

Have you DTD recently? I always seem to spot brown after sex. Try not to worry, i'm sure everything is ok, although i know that's easier said than done

I personally hate Emergency rooms for pregnancy related problems. With my DS i went there because i had a gush of bright red blood (like 1c worth!). I went in, they checked my cervix and that was it. They said they wouldn't do anything else because i was only 19 weeks and there is nothing they could do anyway. The didn't listen for the HB, do an u/s or anything! I called my OB as soon as i left and they had me come in for an u/s. Moral of the story is, they can't do anything at the ER anyway, so i would wait until monday and call your Doctor unless you start bleeding bright red.

GL and KUP!

Try to relax.
If you can, lay down and take it easy, elevate your legs and just chill.
If you start bleeding red blood or cramping really kicks up (I hear at this point, miscarriage cramps are horrendous and pulse like contractions) then I would seek ER attention.
The other thing is, I have been having TONS of back pain. I don't think your pain can be directly correlated necessary. It's totally normal to have back pain kick up now; so just try to breathe *hugs* and take it easy.

Sounds like old blood to me so it could be from DTD a few days ago or something else that irritated your cervix. I would just spend the day relaxing unless something gets worse.

I just had this happen to me on Wednesday. I went to my doctor and she said my cervix was closed but this is the time for large growth spurts and thinks thats what was happening. Mine was also brownish. I would skip the ER for sure tho inless the pain gets really bad. Try to hang in there I cant say dont worry cause thats pointless lol But just feel better mine came out fine !!

I agree with all the others. And avoid the ER unless its alot of bright red blood. You'd most likely sit there for hours on end with no real result. Don't worry, I bet you're just growing and that's causing your cervix to stretch or something, resulting in the brown blood. Unless you begin to actually bleed (red blood) like a period and have pretty constant and painful cramps, then just relax and don't worry!!

I'm sorry to hear that weird things are happening. I have back pain a lot; our hips are widening and that can definitely cause back pain. Abdominal cramps can be bloat or constipation; I guess it depends on where and how severe. I've never spotted, but a little bit that's brown is not ER worthy. Keep an eye on those three symptoms, but otherwise, wait until Monday and call your doctor. Hang in there! If you've had a smooth pregnancy so far, something out of the ordinary can be pretty stressful!

I agree. I'd keep an eye on the cramping and the spotting and try and rest as much as you can. Hopefully you can get in and be seen on Monday.

Also, try increasing your water intake. Even if your urine is totally clear more can help ease cramping.

*Hugs* I'm sure it's all going to be okay. It sounds like something a little rest will help tremendously. Take care, Sunshine!
