I've been out for a week or so. My DS started throwing up earlier this week, which later lead to diarrhea. Then my DH ended up getting it a couple of days later.

Now I'm sick (and the whole time I thought my immune system was holding up pretty well). I started out w/ diarrhea (sorry TMI) and then went to vomiting. I threw up so hard my eyes were watering and my cheeks are super sore.

I actually feel better after throwing up.. but after seeing how long my DH and DS did it, I'm worried it's not the end.

Has anyone else had something like this while pregnant? The cramps scare me.. and I'm concerned about dehydration (I am trying to drink a little water). I'm also not eating.

Just popping over from Sept DDC, my friend has stomach flu at the moment. It was pretty nasty for about 10 days, she got very bad cramps, sickness/diarrhoea couldn't eat, was exhausted, she thought it was food poisoning. But she started puking up blood so her SO took her to the hospital and they said it was gastro...something, or more commonly known as stomach flu.

Really hope you feel better soon, just try to stay hydrated and relax. (hugs)

I feel like I have a sudden onset of TMJ. I can't open my mouth more than two inches. I don't know if I traumatized it while vomiting or what. If I try to open it any more, it just sort of pops.

I just went through it. I actually thought my morning sickness was coming back. It started Monday on the way home, I barely made it home before I had to throw up. Just once, so I thought nothing of it. Then Wednesday night same thing as soon as I got in the car I started to heave. Luckily I had an old coffee cup still sitting in the garbage compartment. DH wasn't impressed. As soon as I got home the party started. I was sick all night and all day. Pretty much stayed in bed the whole day. I had the runs too. I was vomiting so bad that I popped all the veins on my eye lids. It looks like I have 2 giant hickeys. Felt better the next day but the stomach cramps lasted for another day. My DD just got it on Friday night really bad and DH just got the runs. So it's kind of making it's way through our family, but everyone seems to have a slightly different symptom. I have to say it wasn't as bad as when we had it over Christmas. I was flat out for 2 days back then.
Just make sure you stay hydrated!!! Hope it passes soon!!

Thanks. I bursted all of the capillaries in my face. There are all of these tiny red dots everywhere! I also lost 7 lbs. :/

I think I'm past the worst of it now, but just like you said.. the cramps are lingering.

The cramps were the worst when I had it just because they made me nervous. Increasing your fluids as much as you can should make a difference, though possibly a slow one. Remember if you drink a glass of water and then get sick that it's doing no good so switch to something else like Gatorade until your stomach settles. Unless you keep it down it doesn't help and can actually make dehydration worse.

(((Hugs)))) Leo was sick on Wed & Fri. Megan was sick Wed-Fri. Kaelan and Austin were sick on Saturday, but thus far I've managed to not get sick. I got a bad feeling that I will be next, but hoping it stays away.

I hope you are feeling better soon. Stomach bugs are the worst when you are pregnant.
