Baby shower invites

So mum and I were looking at my invites and i was going start writing them out, otherwise it will probably never get done!

So these are what they look like, on the site it also states whats written inside the card.

Where it says 'For' do you think that means, who the shower is for or who the invite is for?
Haha, may sound like a silly question but we really arent sure cause mum seems to think its who the shower is for cause it doesnt specify anywhere what the invite actually is for and Rick seems to think its for who its to.

Argh!

I agree with your Mom...I think it's who the shower is being given for. Very cute!

I agree. Just put your name and Rick's name, or put the baby's name.

I actually own a stationery store and etiquitte says that the shower is for you, you are the guest of honor. All thank you notes should come from you, not from the baby until after the baby arrives.

Yes, the "for line" on an invitation is for the person in which the party is being thrown. (Ex: A birthday party for Alexis, or a shower honoring Meghan.)

One word of advice for your showers is to have all the guests make out an envelope with their address on it. Being a pregnant mom (especially if you work) is a busy, tiring job and by having the guests do this, it is one less thing you have to do when it comes to sending out your thank you cards.
