So I don't think I've been feeling kicks.. but maybe I have.. who knows.
I'm just starting to freak out a little.. wondering if everything is okay. I'm not showing, but it's my first so I guess that's normal. My mom said she didn't show until 5 months.
I've had no spotting.. nothing out of the ordinary at all. I guess I'm just freaking because we have our big u/s in a little over a week and I'm afraid that we'll show up and the baby has stopped growing.
I don't mean to be a debbie downer.. I'm just feeling a little anxious.
Thanks for listening.

I'm at 18 weeks and haven't felt anything yet, and I'm just now starting to show. Don't worry, especially at 16 weeks. I'd be surprised if you'd felt it by now.

I'm 17 weeks and this is my third and I'm still a little uncertain about movement. I'm 99% sure I've felt little bumps here and there, but it's really hard to tell. My ultrasound isn't until around 20 weeks, so I have to just trust that things are and will be fine. I think the range for first timers is 18-22 weeks. but waiting and not knowing is so hard isn't it? I almost wanted to spring for a doppler to ease my mind.

I'm in the same boat. I'm 19 weeks today and I haven't felt anything, that I'm aware of. I lay in bed every night and put my hands on my belly to try to feel something, and nothing yet. I was at the doctor a little over a week ago and she told me that this is normal, and I probably wouldn't feel anything for about another month. That made me feel a little better, but I know what you mean about wanting to so badly and worrying that something is wrong. We have our big scan Monday (if they don't cancel my appointment for me again) and I'm terrified of hearing bad news.
Also, I just started showing, and by showing I mean barely. I wore a dress to a wedding last night that I bought prior to being pregnant and it has an empire waist (excellent choice now that I am now pregnant!) and hubby and I both said I looked pregnant in it. Although, this could have just been in our minds because I was waiting at the bar for a Sprite and a really nice old man came up to order a drink and noticed I was being ignored. He said that I have to be loud, and asked me what I was drinking because he was going to order it for me. I told him Sprite and he called me a bore. I told him no, I was just pregnant, to which he got a good laugh out of and told me that I had him there. He was really cute in his defense, and as we were leaving the wedding he offered to help me to the car because it was raining!.

I will be twenty weeks in two days and I haven't felt anything yet either. I also keep worrying that something is wrong. Especially because it feels like everyone else is feeling there baby.
I had heard that if you had particularly strong ab muscles before getting pregnant, it would take longer to feel the baby.
I am going go to with that lol.

Yeah, I am 20 weeks today and I have JUST (like in the past 3 days) have been finally sure that the little twinges here and there are movement. They are not strong by any means, but I can also feel him shifting around and such and I know it's baby. But literally I couldn't tell until a few days ago. I felt nothing at 16 weeks. I think it is completely normal. I just started showing, too. I looked pudgy before and now I finally look pregnant.

Being anxious is a part of being pregnant, even for those who are showing and have felt movement and especially as the Big u/s comes close.

I really never felt anything with my first. As in....the most i ever felt was teh quickening feeling. I was so jealous of my best-friend who was complaining about huge movements. I found out that my placenta was anterior instead of posterior and basically the placenta acted as a pillow and made me feel nada. It sucked. But I was never up late with a baby that was kicking like crazy
With my 2nd i felt her the first time at 13 wks...and with this baby I thought I felt him or her a long time ago...but havent felt anything for a month.
Um....so yeah. Now I am worrying too Worrying is normal

The past few nights is when I really actually notices the little twinging/fluttering feeling. But I really have to be relaxed and laying completely still to actually pick up on it. But I have a hard time sleeping so I am always spending a lot of time just laying there and not distracted with anything else...lol
Oh I think I look pregnant but then I look and think nope just look like I gained a few pounds.

I'm almost 19 weeks and I haven't felt anything either. My doctor told me not to stress over it since it's my first, and it'd be normal to not even feel anything to up to 22 weeks.

I don't usually feel this one unless I'm laying on my back at night. With my first three I didn't feel anything until well past 20 weeks. They said this is an expected exception because I got pregnant again right after having my third so everything is still on super sensitive mode. Whether or not you're feeling movement though it's very common to be anxious. Especially as you get further in the pregnancy and start worrying about every u/s and every symptom and wondering if it's braxton hicks or an actual contraction, etc. Pregnancy can be very stressful which is part of what makes groups like this so great. We can all go crazy together and having matching straight jackets.

I ddin't start feeling anything until 17 weeks, then by 18 weeks I was definitely sure it was baby and not something else. I bet you'll start feeling something very soon!

I'm almost 18 weeks w/ my 3rd and am not positive I've felt baby yet. Sometimes I think I felt somethng but then think it was just my imagination. I am wondering if my placenta is anterior.
But then the worry kicks in and I'm like what if the baby has no arms or legs or something? I have a doppler so I know baby is alive in there but I want to feel her/him move!

I'm 19 weeks and this is my 3rd. I thought I was feeling movement, but I'm not so sure that's what it was. I'm plus-size, so I usually feel movement a little bit later than other moms, but I thought I'd be feeling more by now. I wouldn't be surprised if I have an anterior placenta, which makes it even harder to feel movement. We'll find out tomorrow.

I do have an anterior placenta, so I don't know when I'll be feeling movement at all. (Though doctor says I'll be grateful for it when baby starts kicking like crazy. Haha!)

This is me too! At my 11 week ultrasound I saw legs, but couldn't really make out arms. I am so terrified that my ultrasound tomorrow night will reveal that the baby has no arms because I haven't felt it move yet!

This is my 2nd Babe and I have felt something a few times. With Thuya I was feeling regular, firm movement by 17 weeks. I am 18 weeks tomorrow and I never feel a thing. It really makes me worry, but I am trying to remain positive.

I'm not feeling anything either. It's been giving me anxiety too. I keep thinking I should be feeling something. I can hear baby moving on doppler so I know baby is moving, but still I will feel better when baby really starts moving.
