When do we typically start going every 2 weeks instead of every 4? I think it goes something like 20 weeks, 24, 28, and then 30, 32, 34, until 36 weeks when we go every week until delivery.

I'm just wondering because it's not too long until we start going more frequently! It's crazy to think I only have 2 more appointments until I hit the big 30

I don't remember what it was with DS. That sounds about right though. With this one I've been going about every 2 weeks from the start so it'll probably stay that way until I start going every week. I'm high risk though according to doc so being monitored very closely. I actually prefer it this way then every 4 weeks like with DS. Keeps my mind at ease. Things were definitely better when I could feel him moving around but there was always that fear in the back of my mind like am I dialating and not knowing it or have an infections or something. I am crazy worry wart though.

I can't remember either! I think it started a little later than that for me with my DD. I just remember that I didn't have to do the weekly appointments because I had her at 37 weeks.

Something like that. I remember only have a few of them 2 weeks apart before hitting 36 weeks.

For my office it's usually starting at 26 weeks I believe, then they switch to weekly based on the individual pregnancy, but no later than 36 weeks.

If I remember correctly with my midwife last time around we started every 2 weeks around 30 weeks. Then every week at 36 weeks.

My doctor starts every 2 weeks at 30 wks. I'll start going every 2 weeks at 20 though and every week at 30. I'm looking forward to it actually, hopefully it will "feel" like its going faster that way.

All the OBs I have ever seen have you start coming every 2 weeks at 28 weeks and then once a week at 36 weeks.

I agree with the previous posts. I just wanted to add that I can't believe it is only about two more appointments before we start going biweekly...going by to quickly!
