My boobs are leaking a clear fluid, especially at night (colustrum?). Am I alone? I didn't think it would start SO early.

Ugh! I've had problems with this with past pregnancies and I'm constantly dreading it starting again. I don't remember how soon it started last time, but so far, I haven't had any leaking.

That's pretty normal. You can always wear nursing pads when you go out if you're worried about something showing through your shirt. Same thing happened to me with DS, I started leaking before 20 weeks. Nothing this time though.

Mine haven't started yet, but they probably will soon. It's usually in the early 20 weeks that I start to have that. It can stain your clothes so I'd invest in some shields. I use these...

Walmart.com: Lansinoh - Disposable Nursing Pads, 60-Count: Feeding

The other brands I've tried tend to feel bulky and be visible even with a bra on. Plus the adhesive helps hold them in place and when I was waiting to dry up with my third as much as I leaked they didn't. They filled up like water balloons until they weighed quite a bit and then they just stopped absorbing, but until it got to that extreme of it just building up instead of being let out every couple hours they were perfect. I could pump 9oz in a session so they took some serious punishment when I stopped nursing.

With both of my pregnancies I started leaking around 20 weeks........it was only when I didn't have a bra on around the house at bedtime. Totally normal!

I've thankfully never leaked during pregnancy. I think leaking is worse with your first than other pregnancies. Well, hopefully that'll mean you have a great milk supply when baby is here.

Thanks, girls for making me feel normal again! I was really beginning to wonder.

Thanks so much, MamaAnna, for the suggestion. I'm going to get some tonight!
