Yesterday I asked BIL to come over and while I made dinner he decided to clean my kitchen and livingroom.... with all 3 kids playing around and taking a few breaks it took him an hour for both rooms... it would have taken me like 3 hours just to do one room... I waddle SOO badly and I hurt when I bend over too much. (Last weekend I cleaned the hallway upstairs, ryans room & braxtons room and it took me 6 hours... and it wasn't horrible...)
Then, I did some laundry last night but had DH bring me down the laundry basket and laundry soap because I'd forgotten them. I have to HOP to get the clothes out of the bottom of the washer... DH asked me if it would just be easier if I jumped in

I know how you feel. It's getting harder some times to get up out of some sofas and chairs. For some reason (despite how big my tummy has gotten and that I've recognized this already), I didn't expect the challenges to hit til much later on.

I know how you feel.

I work in a factory and between trying to lift boxes that range from 20 lbs-100 lbs, having to bend over the side of this huge square cardboard box that would easily hold 2 regular sized baby cribs to shovel little plastic beads so it will be pumped into the machine and having to pack little tiny fan propellers into these big boxes....i have such a hard time. Lol. So i already feel incapable, then i have everyone and their brother that works there asking me when i am going to go work in the back where the 70 yr old ladies & ppl on light duty work....i swear i will scream the next time i am asked about it. Ugh.

I feel your pain. But i get the total opposite at home....my fiance says i should be able to do all of the housework & not be exhausted and out of breath when i am done. Lol

I know I get tired of having to tell DH that he has to pick my daughter up, that he has to pick the toys up because I can't bend over etc. and if I squat I need help back up. I feel like I'm constantly saying "I can't I can't I can't" Just know that this too shall pass!

my 2 yr old feels the need for me to CARRY him to bed... up the stairs and everything.... so, when he gives his daddy a hug & kiss he has to pick him up and hand him to me... its kind of annoying... I've started carrying him up 2 steps then telling him I'll hold his hand. (He's been walking up and down the stairs since he was 15 months old lol, so he's pro by now)
I'm hoping I can wean him from this and he'll just go up on his own.

I know how you feel. I am not upset about it though. I think it's good for the household to experience the house when things don't get done and then have to do them themselves. We do a lot ladies. Now is not the time to stress and push yourself. My husband has always helped out, but now he does more than me. I do light stuff, load and unload dishwasher, he does the laundry and cleans the bathroom. What was hard for me though is when we are traveling. We just got back from DC on Sunday and throughout the airport he was wheeling a bag with another balancing on top, his laptop bag and the carseat on his back. He said "I've got it" so I just held Marley's hand. Love my hubbie.
