I had to take DH to the hospital yesterday because the silly man tripped on a rolled up carpet in the basement (which he put right by the stairs) and tore the tendons in his right foot. He was supposed to be working on finishing the basement this week and was putting down the subflor. Of course now nothing is going to get done, since he has to wear a boot cast and is on crutches for who knows how long. So now instead of him helping me around the house and with the kids I have to help him. He is in a lot of pain and who knows if he can even go back to work. He's going to see a specialist tomorrow.
He had the exact same thing 8 years ago. So now it could be even worse, because his ankle was already weak.
I'm so sick and tired of going to the hopsital. Lucklily they have an after hours fracture clinic, so we didn't have to wait too long.
Ouch, that's really rough. I hope it isn't too bad and he finds a way to get back on his feet. Even if all he does is get his own drink at least it's one less thing you have to stress about on top of having an injured hubby.
Ouch! Don't you love how life throws something like this at you sometimes? I hope he recovers quickly - men can be kinda moany and groany when they're sick or in pain.
Thanks girls. He's doing okay as long as he doesn't move the foot. So now I feel like I have 4 kids in the house and I am totally out of energy. He can't even drive, since it's his right foot. There goes me not lifting things out the window.
On the bright side, I got my u/s moved to tomorrow. Really excited about that!
