Had my OB appt this morning and my due date has been changed to the 18th. I knew that from my first appt, but I wasn't going to argue with the doc. I met the last doc in the practice and I loved him. He advised to go ahead with the level II u/s even though the second AFP test came back good.

I was very excited that he found the heartbeat almost imediately. Since I am a bigger girl, it has taken them awhile to find it. We made the next appt later in the day, so my step daughter can come and hear the heartbeat too.

Also I haven't gained anything...WOO HOO. I was sure the 4lbs I lost last month had come back. I have extra so I'm good

I'm glad everything went well. When does he want you to do the level II?

It will be the 24th. We scheduled it after the first level II. I wasn't sure if I should go to it, but like he said "what will it hurt". I agree, but it's an hour and half drive and $50 lol. But it will be worth it.

Glad you had a great appt! I love my doc 'cause she's good at finding the hb right away especially since I'm on the bigger side. The NP always has trouble finding it!

Thanks guys!!! Yeah there are 3 docs in the practice and I love 2 of them. The other women is ok, but I love the other 2 better!!! There are also 2 NP there and I really don't like them at all!!!! The one looks exactally like my ex-MIL.

I went in 3 weeks ago cause I thought I had a UTI and the NP (both of them) couldn't find the HB. But I had just had my first level II u/s the day before, so I wasn't upset about it.
