Ok, ladies. We have it down to 2 names for this baby girl & we love both of them. Kathleen will be her middle name; she's being named after someone I cared about very much and lost when I was 19.
Olivia Kathleen: I love the name & the nickname Livvy. It's also become quite popular recently. I don't want her to be called Olive, though. I think it goes quite well with Ethan as a sib-set.
Avery Kathleen: I love this name & like Ethan, it doesn't really have a nickname. It's a bit more unusual than Olivia, but nothing teachers won't be able to pronounce reading a name list. I think Ethan & Avery sound great together...both vowels, the same number of letters & syllables.
What do you think?

Olivia was on my short list of names, so I am partial to it. It is much more common though, and I do think both are very pretty. Good luck!

I voted Avery. I like both and although I personally I prefer Olivia, I think Avery goes better with your sons name

I like Avery better, only because Olivia is really popular. I went to school with an Avery, but she went by Avi.

I voted Olivia. Such a pretty name.
Personally, I see Avery as a boy name, even though I know it is now turned more into a girl name.

I love Olivia.I wanted Pypers middle name to be Olivia but Dh did not like it so we are going with Pyper Jillian. I really like both names. I voted for Olivia but Avery does go better with Ethan If thats what you are aiming for. Goodluck!

I chose Avery simply because I always think of Olivia Newton John when I hear the name Olivia!

I chose Oliva b/c if I was having a boy, I was going to use Avery as his middle name.
