I can't believe it but i was just at the doctors yesterday and i'm upset they didn't spot that i'm suffering from a yeast infection....i'm at wits ends...i don't know if its something i can treat myself or if i have to go to my family doctor or back to my obgyn, its very frustrating!especially since they did a urine test,a pap smear and a pelvic exam yesterday and didn't say anything to me.

Did you mention to them that you think you might have a yeast infection? If so, they should have checked the results and let you know immediately. If not, they're probably assuming everything is fine and will let you know later if it's not. I did that when I thought I had a UTI, but they checked right then and said "Nope."

I agree. Usually most people ask the doctor if they think it is a yeast infection. If they didn't notice it maybe it wasn't a yeast infection after all. I'd call them up and see what they have to say.

I would give your OB a call. Mine always wanted to see me before I did any meds.
