When you deliver?
Originally I wanted it to be just my husband and I, but now I'm not sure.
My crazy father begged me to come to my big ultrasound and I originally didn't want him to, but I saw how much it meant to him so I caved. Now, I see that it was so fun to share that moment with him.
I think it would be fun to have my parents (mom, dad, step mom) there, but if I do that, I have to include his parents. I don't necessarily want any of them to see "my stuff," but especially his parents.
I don't know. I think it would be fun, but 6 people is a lot.
What are you doing?

^^^^^^^^^Same here. Even w/dd, who was an emergency c-section, if she had been vaginal...it would have just been df & i.

The hospital we're using allows dh, and two other visitors, and the siblings of the baby. Neither of the kids want to be there...lol, and we're thinking we might let FIL and SIL come in to visit during the labor, but not during the birth itself. For that we just want it to be the two of us. I just think it's kind of a private, special moment.

DH, my Mom, my Doula, any of our children who want to be present at the birth (I think at least two of them) and my friend who will be here to watch them and our birth photographer along with the midwife and her assistant.

Just me and my DH - I thought about having my mom - My DH would like my mom to be there I think - but I can only handle so much...
If you want your mom and dad there with your DH, I say do it. You don't have to have your inlaws in the room with you, and that should be plainly obvious why. You might find that your hospital discourages that many people anyway. The answer is - do what makes you most comfortable and what will bring you the most joy in this experience. Don't be bullied or satisfied with anything short of that.

I'm just having my DH in there with me. If my mom lived closer, I might like to have her there, but even though I get along okay with my MIL, there's some sides of me that she doesn't need to see.

I'll be having a planned c section, and it'll just be my mom. DH is allowed to go, but he doesn't want to, he wasn't there for Kaden, he was in the waiting room, and was there in recovery with us, so it'll just be my mom again

Just DH and my mom (if she isn't needed to watch our other babies). DH's mom wanted to be there but we need someone to take the kids, so she was it! My mom was there with both births of my babies and I want her there for this one.

Whoever wants to be in there can I don't really care all my friends and family aren't the type to go stick their head between my legs to watch anyway at our hospital the rooms are very large so they could still be in there without having to see anything...

I'm having a planned c-section, but if I wasn't it would be my DH and my best friend, who's actually a L&D nurse!

Just my DH and my mom but it depends on what time I go in-my mom might have to watch Jill and Sami like she did when I went in the last time. When I gave birth to my daughters it was just DH in the room.

Hopefully my husband and my mom. My dad can stay home with our dog I feel like with two of them there they can sympathize with each other when I start screaming at them.

My entire family tends to wait out in the waiting room for every birth in the family. No joke, its like grandparents, great grandparents, aunts and uncles, great aunts and uncles, and cousins. It's a love/hate thing for me. So far, I let my mom and dad visit while I'm in labor, but kick everyone out once things start getting intense.
It's only ever been my hubby in the room with me. This time I am having hubby, a couple of doulas, my midwife, possibly her assistant, and a nurse. The rooms at the hospital that I am birthing at are super small, so this is gonna be ENOUGH! Lol.
