To me it would be a shock yet pleasant surprise if Caleb turned out to be a girl but I've had 3 diff techs and 4 diff u/s say boy!

That happened to my friend..her doc kept telling her it was a girl time after time. When HE came out, everyone was so surprised.

I'm pretty sure there's no mistaking that my little man is definitely a boy..he was standing at attention for everyone and proudly at that!

Similar story with my friend! Except they told her BOY and she had a GIRL! Apparently that's the most common mistake! With 'swollen' parts early on, many techs may read the swelling as boy!
Makes me nervous!

Yeah I've heard reading boy and it being a girl is actually more common because of the cord and such getting in the way. As well as the swollen areas, of course.

Yet another good reason to just be surprised I guess... LOL.

Oh wow! I had an ultrasound a few weeks ago and the tech said they can never be 100% sure when saying its a girl because little boys can tuck the goods in pretty well.

Hmmm ... I guess it's a good thing I'm having another ultrasound. I thought I was having a boy due to Intelligender, so I was a little disappointed when the tech said it was a girl, but now I've gotten used to the idea of a girl and I think I'd be disappointed if it changed! It did seem pretty obvious that she's a girl, with the 3 lines. I got a view of her legs up near her head.

That's what scares me...I was confirmed 100% girl. I am still keeping tags on everything too. LOL

My midwife with my last pregnancy said its easier to tell if its a girl...because there will be the 3 lines...which boys just don't have, however like some of the other people were saying the cord , swollen parts can be mistaken for boy parts. That being said,....I'm terrified to buy boy stuff..esp since we are having twins...I keep thinking maybe its harder to be sure since there is less room??? I would hate to have to return everything!!
