Or am I just OCD? I've decided that we NEED matching nightstands with drawers, that my closet system HAD to be raised 5 inches so I could fit another rack underneath (which upon emptying my closet and doing so, i realized that there's still not enough room, so now I'm contemplating lowering it so the clothes are close to the floor and adding racks above), that I'm about to pay someone to take our junk away because I'm TIRED of looking at it in their various piles in our house and yard (we don't own a truck), and that there HAS to be MORE floor space in my children's rooms somehow and I'm currently trying to find toy boxes/organizers. I also want to add another room to the house, and possibly move my washer and dryer to that yet-to-exist room so that I can have another 3 or 4 feet of counter and cabinet space in my kitchen. And I can accomplish very very little of any of this because the money we have set aside is for more practical things like dentists and doctors and oven repair guys (the last of which is due within the next 15 minutes to tell me WHY my oven decided to mysteriously stop working for NO reason whatsoever).

I just generally want to throw everything out of the house and start from scratch. Can I please?? I guess I'll take a nice bubble bath tonight instead.

Lol, I am finding as I'm getting my second wind wanting to do a lot more rearranging and organizing for baby. You'll probably do it again as you get closer to delivery, but maybe not. I didn't always do the nesting thing when I was that far along. Sometimes I was just too tired.

It's hitting me a lot earlier this time. My house is a lot cleaner than it has been in awhile and I'm planning to do more rearranging and cleaning today while the kids nap. Normally it's my down time, but I'm really restless and just want to make things look different.

Hey, well, at least if you're already nesting you're doing it while you're not huge yet! It sucks when you want to paint, move furniture, etc. when you can't even tie your shoes

I started the whole re-organizing and throwing away about a month ago. I'm still going strong with it--I just feel everything has to be cleaned, organized, then re-cleaned and re-organized!

I got the spring cleaning bug more than the nesting bug I think. It hit me HARD yesterday. I scrubbed our living room top to bottom, scrubbed the hardwood, put refinisher down, etc. I was going to do our porch/hallway/kitchen/dining room today but I forgot I promised a friend I would hang out so I'm going to do all that tomorrow. I'm just glad I have some energy to do it!

Oh yeah. I never really nested with my first but I am going crazy with this one. I'm obessing over laundry hampers and bedding right now. And since the baby is getting a nice room, my daughter's room will have to be redone too since we never really decorated much.

UGH. I so want to start shopping but we won't know gender till next week and I'm broke till then anyway.
