Im planning on making my own baby bedding this time. For one, its a lot cheaper, and two, i need something to do with my time!

I'm super excited about having a custom nursery that no one else has. So, for anyone else considering it i wanted to share this AMAZING site i found. They have tutorials and patterns for pretty much EVERYTHING in the nursery.

-boutique style blankets, bumpers, crib skirt, pillows, quilt, curtains and valences, and lots of decor.

I'm super stoked to get started! WOOT!

Cuuute! I don't own a sewing machine and have never used one, but I think making your own stuff is awesome! I saw a cute Noah's Ark quilt pattern that I really wanted. Oh well.

Oh, that is really cool! I wish I had a room to do a nursery in. I am waiting until baby is born before redoing any rooms.

What a great site! That stuff is super cute. With my DD my Mom and her sisters made my crib set and it came out great. I want to try and make some of the collapsible storage baskets on that site. They look easy and with some fun fabric would be so cute.

I was thinking the other day how I wish I could make my own nursery set. I wish I had the skills and the time. Maybe one day. Make sure to show us pictures of the things you make.

Hmmmmmmm! I just might make my own as well! I'd toyed with the idea, but couldn't find any good sites to teach how to make them! Thanks for sharing!!

I have a sewing machine that my mom gave me 12 yrs ago and I have NEVER used. I don't know how to. The fabric looks really nice. Very different. Maybe I should try to sew. I don't know if it is hard and if you can teach yourself? How did you get started with sewing?

I'm self taught. With the internet you can pretty much teach yourself anything these days

I do wedding cakes and am completely self taught there too.

I might really do it, dig out my sewing machine and dust it off, download some instructions and give it a try. It's nice to have inspiring ideas that will make me try something new. Thanks for that!

Wow, this is great! Thanks for sharing. I don't know why I never thought about making my own before... I sew all the time and this seems like fun. If I am having a boy I will need something that goes for both genders since they are sharing a room.
