Anybody have any cute ideas on how to tell your family the gender of the baby???

I've been doing some research online and all I can really find is the cupcake/cookies idea where you have them open a box of blue frosted cupcakes/cookies for a boy and pink frosted for a girl. Seems like everybody does that... just wondered if anyone had any other ideas.

Thanks gals.

I want to tell my inlaws at Easter and I also want to make it cute. I was thinking of having little chicks w/ pink roses and/or little vases w/ pink roses in front of each table setting. Maybe a pink desert and pink lemonade? I am still debating what would be cute... I might have to go see what the craft store has and work w/ that.

You could fill the cupcakes with the colored icing, that way they have to bite into them to find out. You don't have to tell them anything special, just that you baked cupcakes for them. Then see who catches on!

Everyone could go to the families house in baby blue or baby pink shirts. EVERYONE...lol even dad! Or...you could make a dinner with all pink or blue themed stuff... Um...or you could hand out CD's with all music about girls or all music about boys...I dont know. I am terrible at surprises!

Since we are so far away I thought of sending my mom pink carnations if its a girl For a boy I thought of blue hydrangeas or something along the blue/ish line. With a quirky note. I am going to have to keep it quiet as far as the actual date I go in for my US though because she is constantly asking...lol Since my dad probably won't be be home he will just get a call or some type of quirky picture text.
