Time is starting to go faster now (at least it feels like it to me). And we still have a lot to do to get ready for baby. Some of you moved or are going to move before baby is here so I am wondering if you have some houseprojects that need to be done? How about everybody? Are you planning/or have already started/finished some major/minor houseprojects that you would like to be done before baby is here?
*****
We are getting our kitchen redone and new flooring put into the whole main level. That includes new paint on the walls and new light fixtures. Not everything is picked out but we are getting there. Then we still need to move the furniture out of my office and transform it into the baby's room. A lot to do till August!!!

Nothing quite that big. I always have lots of little stuff going on. I'm trying to make the kids' storage space more efficient. And we're saving up for a bed for DD so that we can give DS's crib to baby and DD's toddler bed to DS.

Nothing huge here. We need to transform our office into the nursery. So basically, in April we are going to be setting up shelving in the garage, boxing up books, books, books and paperwork, and moving and organizing all of that office stuff in the garage for storage. Once I have everything office OUT of there, I can actually start buying and getting all of my nursery furniture in there.

Our house needs to be finished being built haha. Thats the main one, then we'll move in and I'll go into crazy unpack house mode so I'm not worried about still being out of boxes when baby gets here. I also am going to sort/donate things we don't need or no longer use when we move into the new house.

We have LOTS to do, but nothing construction wise, just a lot of cleaning and reorganizing. We need to put the bunkbeds into the other bedroom so the girls can share the bigger room. Then we'll make the other room the nursery.
I have TONS of stuff to go through. The kids' bedrooms closets need to be gone through and stuff needs to be sold. Extra bedding sets, old clothes of mine and DH's that I will NEVER fit back into unfortunately. I can't wait to get it all gone through and hopefully be organized better.
I SOOOOOOOO wish we had a basement

I need to re-structure a closet in our office (turning 2 small side-by-side closets into one big one) to hold all of DHs clothes and junk since all of his things are in the spare bedroom that is going to be the nursery. So that needs to get done before I can even begin to think about nursery stuff. Plus, there's a kitchen remodel - painting cabinets, wall & tiling the floor - to be done. Did I mention that I am doing it? Of course, I'm going to have to con my dad & 2 brothers to help me since I can't do any heavy lifting any more. And the closet needs to get done before DH gets back (April 30) so I can throw away...er, I mean organize...his crap for him. And all I want to do is get the nursery started but I can't...

DH and I have realized once baby comes, there is going to be no time for all of the stuff we've been putting off since buying this house two years ago. So, we're scrambling! We FINALLY painted the living room (it's been stark white since we moved in), got new throw pillows, and some art for the walls. Next up, we're going to attempt to build a new coffee table. I just found this awesome website with easy furniture plans. I'll post it on the main board right now if anyone's interested!

I have to get DD's big girl room finished. It was our guest room/ storage room. I need to get rid of a lot of things or find new places to put them. Righ now I have a lot of crafting stuff in there. I think I am going to give a lot of it away. I am really bad at getting rid of stuff so it is going to take me awhile.

Our biggest project is getting DH to make up his mind on whether we move or remodel!
I want to move so badly, but I'm to the point that I don't care what we do as long as he gets his butt in gear and things start happening!
The house I want - they dropped the price 15k in the last couple weeks. We've had our eye on it since summer before they decided to go through a realtor. The in-laws are coming up next weekend (dun dun duuuun) and I have a feeling DH is going to start negotiating with them. I told them a few months ago that I'd rather not have their money, but now... yeah...

Moving into a new (to us) place in the next couple weeks. Unpacking and getting things set up how I want them. It's only a 2 bedroom so no decorating a nursery, he/she will share a room with Jacob when it's time for the baby to move out of our room. Then the fun stuff like name letters and such.

We just moved this weekend into a bigger house that has a ton of minor fixer-upper type projects. There's no way they'll all be done by the time the baby gets here, but the bigger ones should be complete. The major one is redoing the entire kitchen - new cabinets, countertops, appliances, but it's first on our list.
After that, if I get the baby's room painted and set up, I'll be happy.

The baby's room is set (it's currently our 2 year olds room). We have to add one more coat of brown paint to our room, hang shelves, and empty out the spare bedroom. Then, get "big girl furniture" for Whitney, paint her room and get her used to it. We are about to go to IL for 2 weeks, then Jas is going to Hawaii for 3 weeks so all of these projects will hae to wait until the end of May..

My list could go on and on and on. The one thing I want done before baby is born though is for dh to finish the upstairs bathroom remodel. He was making steady progress until he had to go on mandatory overtime at the start of the month. I am so ready for that to be over with.
