So I was thinking about formula. It's been so long since my son was a baby (he's almost 8), I have no idea what formula to start the baby on. My son was real colicky so we changed to many times I think I ended up with Soy. So thought I might as well start this baby on Soy, but i have no idea.

When Ethan did get formula we liked the Enfamil. We had some trouble with spitting-up & the only thing (breast milk included) that helped was the Enfamil AR. It has rice starch in it. Ethan was colicky, too & it didn't matter what I fed him, breast milk, formula, soy, etc, he was colicky with everything for about 12 weeks.

Mekya was the same way. I can't even remember if the soy helped, but that's the last thing he was on so I think I just kept him on that. I guess I have a lot of research to do!

Mine both always did good on the regular Similac. That's probably what I'll use again.

I plan on using Similac. It's what my sister used for all 3 of her kids, so hopefully it will be fine for us. I think I am going to go with the concentrate stuff. I hadn't planned on buying any until after the birth as well, but I may change my mind closer to the time so I can at least have a couple of cases on hand.

So I really got to thinking about buying some fromula now or before atleast baby gets here(even though I said I woulnt) so I will be prepared. I know every baby is different but I got online and searched similac coupons. I ran across one for 50% off a case of ready to feed with free shipping from the similac website. I didnt get very excited b/c I figured it wouldnt work. Well it did! I got a whole case(48) of ready to feed 2 oz bottles for 21.60 thats tax included with the free shippping! Im so excited to have saved so much money. It might work out where the baby wont drink similac but with the savings I fugured I would take a chance. If we cant use it I can always donate it to someone that can. I want this baby to cook a while longer but I feel so prepared right now!

I just used this like an hour ago so I hope it still works for you!
Strong Moms Coupon Codes - all coupons, discounts and promo codes for similac.com
When you get to this website go to the first coupon code and it will redirect you to the abbot(sp) website which is the similac wedsite. Make sure you upgrade to the 3-5 days shipping and it should turn up free. Good Luck I hope I works. I just couldnt pass up 21.60 for a whole case!
