Ugh, tonight is sucking hardcore so far. I deal with chronic back pain, and some days are worse than others. Today's the worst it's been lately. Then, I started having some pretty painful braxton hicks and they're killing me. I don't think they're actual contractions, and the docs didn't want me to come in just yet. I've been drinking a ton of water and just trying to get comfy. Laying down helps the contractions, but doesn't help the back pain.. it makes it worse. Walking around makes the contractions go away, and the back pain stays the same. I'm sitting in a recliner now and it's the closest I can come to comfort. Ugh. I need a hug

I've been getting more and more uncomfortable too. I feel your struggles. So sorry you're going through it though...

I keep thinking, oh my goodness, and we haven't hit the hardest part of discomfort yet!

I'm sorry. I had bad back pain with one of my pregnancies, and not with the other three. I wonder if it's just the baby was laying or what. Warm baths, massages, walks, and swimming helped me feel better. Even though I felt like laying around, sitting or laying on really soft surfaces like the couch made it hurt worse.

As for the BH I've just noticed this week that mine are getting uncomfortable too. Not painful yet, but I am really feeling them now! I hope yours are harmless.

I hear you! I've have been having extremely rough back pain. I can hardly lay in bed anymore. I just get up and go to the recliner as well. It's horible I've never had problems with my back and some night I just cry because of it and I can't get comfy. If this is a test to see if I can do natural childbirth then I think I'm failing, I'm gonna want the drugs if I have to put up with this for several more weeks.

I didn't go to bed until 4:45 am last night. I wasn't in pain, but just felt totally wired and couldn't sleep at all. I definitely had to cheat with some caffeine this morning. My back is not so bad, but my hips get really sore, and I feel more comfortable on my back, even though you are not really supposed to sleep that way.

Awww... that's no good mama! I hope you can find someway to be comfy.

I have back issues to also. I hurt my lower back while in training for the Army, so it hurts pretty much every single day regardless. Now that I'm pregnant it's getting worse. I know that it can really only get worse from here too, which sucks. The worst thing in my book is round ligament pains though. They are kicking my butt.

Oh man!! My back pain has subsided thank goodness (although I have tremendous back stiffness) but now I'm dealing with an injured muscle or ligament under my belly on my left side. If its not one thing, its another!
