I'm a student of human nature, and I have found it rather entertaining to see how people migrated from talking about first trimester morning sickness to second trimester popping...well, now that the third trimester is upon me, I'm finding it rather hilarious how the horror stories have started coming out.

I don't think people are conscious that they are doing it, but I've definitely noticed the attraction to discussion topics by the stage of pregnancy I'm in.

How is everyone else finding it?

Haha....everytime I go out with my girlfriends we ALWAYS at least visit the topic of our labors and deliveries. Even though it's usually the same group of ladies and so we know the stories! One girl had awful high blood pressure and an emergency induction, another went ten days overdue, I had the super duper painful induction that only lasted four hours from start to finish. Badges of honor I guess?

Yeah lots of people like to speak of their horror stories of labor. Luckilly both of my labors were pretty uneventful except for Cadence my epidural only worked on the left side of my body, and they had to use a vacuum for her. Certainly far from a horror story though lol!

I grew up listening to my mom and all her friends and acquaintances comparing horror stories. I'm betting this is something that spans generations! I get the "honor" of being the only c-section in my family

No one has tried to tell me their birthing horror stories, interestingly enough. I don't need them anyway, I've got two of my own already!

Most of my friends know I've already delivered a 9lb13oz baby. I think they're pretty sure they can't scare me!
