Just an update here ladies.
Everything is OK for starters.

I was at work tonight and I went to pee and peed straight blood.... so I called my doctor's office, and they sent me down to get my urine done. Well, infection. Yep. Then they wanted me to go get looked at since they were closing by the ER. So I head there; well they actually MEANT to tell me to go to Labor and Delivery because the ER doesn't see patients past 20 weeks; so that was scary.

They get me set up to monitor just in case; and they actually found my little boy's heartbeat on the fetal monitor; they didn't expect to since he's so small compared to the full term ladies. But he stayed put for over an hour and a half and I got to listen to him that long.
Anyway, they found I was having mild contractions that WEREN'T braxton hicks. SIGHHH. So I got an injection of terbutaline (I think?) to stop the uterine contractions and I was kept there for 4 more hours. My blood pressure got all high and so then they started getting all worried too... But it came down after the meds wore off... I was finally discharged.

Now I'm not to work until I hear from my doctor on Monday and then they will decide whether I'm a bedrest candidate or not. Great.
Good news is, baby's heart sounded great and my cervix was CLOSED and high and perfect.

Btw; having your cervix checked really HURTS when you're not in labor. Fingers only fit so much.....

What a scary visit. With the blood gushing out and all. I would be so nervous and probably a total mess. I am so glad to hear your baby-boy is doing good and you got to hear the hb. I hope everything will return to normal for you and your baby and no complications. Hang in there. You are more than half-way there!

Glad to here everything is ok! Hopefully the contractions were brought on by the infection and they go away on their own and you don't have to do bedrest!

I'm so glad that you and your baby boy are doing good! A closed cervix is a very good thing. Hoping so hard for you that you don't have to be on bed rest. Not that the bed rest in and of it self is probably the stressor...I'm guessing it would be the no working deal, and finances. I understand. I'll be thinking about you.
