Weeks ago I had been experiencing a leg pain in the crease of my thigh and down the front of my leg that the doctor had said was due to the baby pressing on a nerve. It was a sharp shooting pain that went away after maybe 20 second or so.

Now, I'm experiencing a similar pain a couple times a night but it's now in my lower left abdomen. I also sometimes get a couple bouts of mild menstrual cramps throughout the night, which I contributed to being braxton hicks. Does anyone know what this shooting pain could be or is anyone else experiencing it? I'm going to call the doctor but I already know I won't get any sort of real answer

Well, a lot of lower left abdominal pains are due to the intestines/colon.. Have you had a bowel movement recently? Are you constipated? That's my only guess... It wouldn't hurt to ask, for sure. Sometimes pregnant women get cysts (I had one at 15 weeks that burst and it HURT in that same area) so. ya never know?

lower left abdomen makes me think round ligament. Mine has been killing me for about a week. sometimes when I move, and even sometimes when I DON'T move, I get a stabbing pain there. I have talked to my midwife and my chiropractor about it, it's definitely my ligament, just because of baby's position.
