Liver looks good, but my uric acid levels (kidneys) were really elevated compared to last Sunday. Debbie, my midwife/DR, is hoping that its just from dehydration so they are just going to wait and check my blood work again on Monday.

I found this on dehdration and uric acid levels though:

Gout
Renal disease and renal failure
Alcoholism
Dehydration
Leukemia and lymphoma
Starvation
Metabolic acidosis
Toxemia of pregnancy
Infectious mononucleosis
Hyperlipidemia
Hemolytic anemia
Excessive cell destruction associated with chemotherapy and radiation treatment



So I am just going to assume that it was from being so dehydrated

sounds like that's probably it, if it was toxemia you'd have other symptoms too.

I hope so too so you can keep that baby baking a little longer! Did they have you do a 24hr urine?

Funny the way you cross your fingers for dehydration so much in pregnancy. I'm sure that's all it is though.

nah she isnt doing a 24 hr urine on me. Even with the crazy concentrated urine I only had +1 protein in my urine. (its been trace the last 4 weeks)

Honestly, i dont think I have ever done a 24 hr urine...they are so weird about having us do them here. no idea why!

Honestly I think it's probably from dehydration as well. Just push lots of fluids and see what happens.
