I feed Hallie breastmilk. I'm hoping to avoid formula if I can. Nothing against formula, it's just that breastmilk is free and formula is expensive!!

Josh gets breastmilk in a bottle. We'll switch to formula when he's about 4-5 months old.

EBF here! My goal is to make it at least 6 months, but one year would be ideal.

There needs to be a both option. Since she was preemie it was recommended that she be given formula following a feed since she was so tiny and had trouble maintaining her blood sugar. Since we started doing that, it is taking longer for my supply to get up so she still has a 2 ounce bottle of formula 2-3 times a day following a feeing. It's getting to be less though and she doesn't normally take a bottle at night at all.

Formula. I BF but he was really whiney and wouldn't settle, as soon as I gave him formula he was fine.

We use both, I bottle feed the breastmilk so I supplement with the formula.
