Yeah, I know it's early but I need to plan as well in advance as I can since time to get stuff done is so few and far between, lol!

For Omair's 1st birthday I'm doing a train theme...not so so much being done really, just the cake has a train theme. Anyway, I thought the invitations should introduce the idea and 'm wondering if you ladies can help me think of a rhyme? I'm going to try to make them myself since it's just close family and a couple of neighbors coming.

I'm thinking something with "choo-choo" in it, or "chugging along" or something along those lines.

Any of you already planning the party too?

Found online:
"By train, by plane, or motor yacht,
for fun and games we've found the best spot!
It's Omair's first birthday party, so don't be late.
"All aboard! Let's Celebrate!"

"All Aboard for Omair's birthday

Please meet at track (child's age)

On (day, date)

Party train departs at (start time) and returns to the station at (end time)

Lunch will be served in the dining car.

Come dressed to have fun!

Please respond to Station Master Miranda at (phone number)"

"All aboard!
Patry time - Train boards at:
Party finish - Returning at:
Where is the party - Smith station (use your surname)
RSVP to: The Station master Miranda"

These are just a few- I googled "train themed invitation wording" and found super cute stuff. I love Google

I am thinking about planning Stevie's birthday but I can't think of a theme. I like the rhymes from above. I feel like my brain is mush lately. I can't think of any rhymes myself.

Those are great Rhymes, I love the train theme. I was thinking of doing our in a Thomas theme. But since we are having it at a lake/with a beach, we are going to do a pirate theme. It changes weekly, though.

I like the ideas the pp had!! We are doing a luau themed party for Lyla. I found some plates, cups, and napkins that have a white background and really bright hibiscus flowers on them. That started everything off!

I have 2 birthdays in July. DD#1 is July 16 and Miranda is July 28. I will probably do them together, since we are basically inviting just the family. I will certainly get 2 cakes, so a theme would be cute. I think I'll get a butterfly cake.

The train theme is cute and those are really cute rhymes!

That's super cute

My daughter's friend had a train theme for his 3rd birthday and here's the cake his parents made. It was insane the amount of time it took.
