Nope! Thankfully I never got into those. I was heartbroken when they cancelled As the World Turns!!

Now I just watch Days of Our Lives and Young and the Restless whenever I have time to watch my DVR'd shows.

Not at all. Once upon a time, when I was off on mat leave with DS (like 8 years ago) I got stuck watching Passions. OMG after a while I couldn't take it anymore. That must be the dumbest show on earth. What really annoyed me was that they had to repeat everything 20 million times, for those viewers who I guess didn't catch the last episode. And everything took forever to happen.
No thanks!!! I'm cured and will never again watch another Soap.

I think its sad since they are long run timing shows and people actually do watch them and what they are thinking of replacing them with are kinda dumb. I don't watch those ones though. I am a Days girl and even that is not a I need to watch..lol

Oooh I remember Sunset Beach.

Yeah! I thought the shows that were replacing them are really dumb, I don't think they will get as many ratings as the soaps.

No, I didn't watch soaps. Not my kind of thing...but I'm sure a lot of other people have been watching them for years and it is sad that reality drama and superficial topics are taking over the TV these days.

I don't watch soaps (or any other daytime TV really) so it doesn't bother me.

The Chew and The Revolution. one is a food show and a healthy living/social show. There are tons of these shows on tlc, dhc, and all the other networks.

The Chew? That has to be the dumbest name for a show I have ever heard.

I liked all my children and one life to live but i havent watched in a while and havent watched daily for a couple years.....

my mom told me last week about them stopping .... i watched them as a teenager during the summer ....

i think they have put so many teeny bopper themes recently ... I think they have taken off on Star's character and really how many todd mannings have there been ... I think they can only go so far (40 years) before they are repeating the same themes over and over and i am sure many if of the watchers are in there 40's and 50's and have watched for years... I think they should bring something good in it's place .

I used to watch soap operas but I haven't watched them in so long. It is kind of sad for the people who do watch them. It seems like they keep putting the same show with a different name on tv. Everything is the same!

It costs SO much money for those soap operas though. Its so cheap to do reality type TV Its severely unfortunate. TV sucks lately! I LOVE Young and the Restless....that is our family show that we have watched (three generations). I remember Victor from when I was 4 yrs old on the TV! And sharon! Geez....so sad if they go!
