Haha, I think we did this before but a phone message my hubby left made me want to start another one!

He always leaves this message: "Hey its me, call me back". Now I understand that sometimes you don't want to leave a long message on the line (my other pet-peeve..sometimes he'll go on and on and on in a voicemail lol...yes, I am Goldilocks!)..but give me more than that! Tell me what its regarding or if its important or not or something... when I get a message like that, it makes me NOT want to call him back, ha!

Another is people using checks while shopping, especially at the grocery store. Really??? There are so many quicker and more convenient ways to shop!

ha ha, yea the check thing bothers me too. I dislike checks, I only write them for things I HAVE too, which I couldnt even tell you the last time I did.. oh yea, for tball, but thats it. LOL. It was check or money order, so I didnt have time to go get a money order. but yes, and people who do like 3-5 transactions at the store. I was behind a woman, and she had her order which she paid for with a debt card, her mothers order which she wrote a check for, and then she let her dd who was about 4 have her own order too. She had a few little toys and coloring books, and when they said the total the mom stood there doing a dang lesson about counting money while we all had to wait. Now, I DO let my dd pay for her things, but only if the line is slow. Im not going to hold up a line, having her count, and take our time. Another pet peeve is talking and texting while driving, or checking out in a store. Im alway yelling "Get off your **** phone, and you would know the light is green!" Lol.

Oh my gosh, YES!!! I HATE IT when people let their kids pay...especially in change!! Its so rude, unless like you said, there is no one else there. I don't know what is going through parents head sometimes. I was behind a woman at toys r us, who let both her kids pay in a bunch of change. Took freakin forever. The least she could have done was taken the change her kids had saved up and given them bills. I guess paying in a bunch of change is obnoxious as it is, but its even worse when its an indulgence done to teach kids how to shop. Just pretend-shop at home and leave the paying up to mom or dad.

I hate when old people park in the "for expectant mothers and parents with small children" parking spots. Lazy people too. I've approached more than a few about it. lol

Our credit union has a kid's coin machine- dump the money in and let it sort the coins. We have DD use that and deposit her money in her savings account.

Cell phones while driving.

Kids texting all the darned time (I guess I'm just getting old )

Outspoken haters (if you have nothing nice to say...)

I know there's more...

Pretty much talking on your cell phone while doing anything in a store, restaurant, library, etc. It bugs the crap out of me.

I can't really think of anything else; for the most part I'm pretty laid back about stuff.

- People who pull out in front of you, only to go 20 miles under the speed limit.
- Weirdos who obsessively check my blog. (I WAS banning IP's but really don't care anymore. So I guess this technically is a "former" peeve! lol, losers)
- OBVIOUS bad grammar (I'm not the grammar police but come on, we all know the difference between to/too/two!)
- Stupid bumper stickers
- Bluetooth headsets in public places (I can't tell you how many times I have thought some random person is talking to me, ahaha)
- Text speak

It really bugs me when non-preggo & people w/o kids use the reserved parking spots.
I HATE it when people just leave thei shopping carts where ever in parking lots.
Irregardless.. its not a word.
When people say the don't "believe" in things that very obviously exist. Like my SIL used to tell me she didn't "believe" in daycare. Or when someone says they don't "believe" in birth control. No, you chose not to use these things or your religious beliefs don't allow them. There's a difference, please use the word correctly.

Oooh, yes! It's even more funny when the person is trying to "seem" intelligent, haha.

This is odd because I've never heard anyone use that (non) word. And I looked it up, and it's in the dictionary. If it's in the dictionary, it's a word right? I understand it means regardless, but I've never even heard anyone say Irregardless.

People who walk REALLY slow and take up the whole aisle at the mall or at the store or anywhere in public and are oblivious to the fact that anyone could possibly be behind them wanting to walk faster.

I hate that apparently NOBODY remembers or learns that when driving you should (ideally) leave a distance between you and the car in front of you equivalent to one car length for every 10 miles of speed. I know that's not possible a lot of the time but, please, at least leave SOME space so if they brake you won't slam into them! (I am NOT a good passenger in someone else's car, lol. I don't say anything but I can't usually relax.)

Haha, I always correct people when they say "irregardless"...I've gotten a few dirty looks before LOL.

Shannon, its a weird "word" because people use it to mean "regardless", and regardless is the real word and correct meaning.

I think they probably put it in the dictionary since it's so misused...didn't they put "chillax" in there not that long ago? LOL

(Can "chillax" be a peeve? LOL)

So many pet peeves over here I don't know where to even begin.

I hate melodramatic FB status updates that beg for someone to ask a question about the meaning. "I'm so misunderstood...." and "Certain people just need to tell the truth...." (it's required that you use the ...... for effect too.) And I hate when people that immediately reply "What happened????". You are just encouraging them!!

I hate when we have a family/friends get together and everyone sits around on their laptop watching TV.

I hate when the TV is just randomly on all the time all day long (Yes, I watch TV and I don't even care if you told me you were watching a 24 hour CSI marathon...I just hate when it's on just to be on.)

LOL the facebook status!!! I completely agree!! Just say what's going on or don't mention it at all.

And ditto about the tv being on just to be on. My husband does this and it drives me nuts!!! Its just obnoxious background noise to me. It makes me feel unsettled.

I have another one...this is kinda a weird one...does anyone else find it strange when random kids come up and start talking to you? This hardly ever happened to me before I had my daughter, but its happened a few times since. Like this little girl started talking to me in the park about this and that (I honestly don't remember what she was saying, she kept going on and on), and today I was at Carters at this little girl picked up this baby t-shirt and gave it to me and kept pointing at my daughter, like I should buy it for my daughter. And I always try to be kind and smiling and everything but it makes me uncomfortable. I want to tell them not to talk to strangers!! I'm so confused, I was NEVER like that as a kid...I wonder what it is about certain kids that make them just go up and start talking to random adults. I don't think its cute and it puts me in an awkward situation of trying to humor them when my gut reaction is just to blow them off. Note to self: Teach Arie not to talk to strangers!

hahahaha on the random kids! I also would have never done this as a child. I guess for me it's only a pet peeve when you are suddenly supposed to entertain the kid for the entire evening because you talked to them and they liked you (that's happened to me at a friends house.)

I hate the fb status too. Then i hate it more when the person replies, "Ugh, i cant tell you." Why post it then?

I also hate when ppl feel the need to be center of attention. Like i can guarantee when we tell our families about baby #3, my cousin will start talking about how her & her husband want another. *rolls eyes*

I hate bad grammar, too. I really hate it when ppl say granite instead of granted. Lol. Df does this a lot & then i get distracted from what he is saying bc i am thinking about that (and sometimes trying not to laugh).

I hate when ppl let their kids run crazy in public.

I have more, i will edit later.

Ahahaha that's so me! I am the person who asks "What?!?!" because I am so nosey! I think the peeve for me is when they write it and then freak out/don't say what's wrong when people ask....lol
