Do your babies look like you thought they would? Mine doesn't. I always thought my and dh's kid would look more like him, with dark hair and dark skin. But instead he looks like me, and a complete white kid. Not a mix. I do think my son is perfect, but I'm just surprised at how he turned out!! Right after birth he looked total Pakistani, but now he looks totally white!!! Looking at this pic, you'd never believe dh is the father!!!!

Lyla looks so much like I did at her age that it's creepy!! Some pictures of us are nearly identical. However, people often say she looks like her daddy!! We joke that it's because they both have the same amount of hair!

I think that Jackson is a good mix of the two of us, he looks a lot like me but he has his dad's nose and facial expressions. The one thing I am surprised at though is how little hair he has! I mean he does have some and it grows more every day but both his father and I have extremely thick hair, (like to the point where every hairdresser I have ever had comments on how I have enough hair for 5 people), we were born with thick hair and none of it ever fell out. Jackson really doesn't have very much of it though, and a lot of it fell out after birth! Not that I mind, it's just funny

all the kids start off looking like my husband but then morph into me LOL. his friends and family always say the kids look like him and mine think they look like me. so who knows

Strangers will say Rosie looks just like DH. I see some of it but really she has a good mix of the both of us. Her baby pics and mine we are identical. As she has gotten older she has taken on DH's skin tone, hair color and eyes though.

I think Omair looks like a mix. I am a mixture of Irish and Syrian and most people can't tell until I point it out. I think Omair will be the same.

I never suspected that DH and I would have a little blondie. I still marvel at how light his hair is! I don't think he looks much like either of us.

I'm surprised at how much Holden looks like my side of the family. People tell me he looks like me and I hardly see any of his dad in him. Sometimes he looks so much like my brother and my brothers kids.

All 3 of my boys are mixed of us but my older two definitely have more of my husbands looks. Bishop I expected him to follow suit but that baby is blonde, blue eyed, pale and definitely is a little me. I was excited haha.

Isaac doesn't really look like either of us. I think he gets his looks from my dad's side of the family.
Eva is a good mix of both of us.

Both of my kids started out looking like their dad, dd is starting to have more of my features. Tommy is a spitting image of his dad.

I think Nathan looks like my side of the family. I was so surprised because I had it in my head that he would be a mini DH. Rebecca looks a lot like DH's side of the family, they are all really petite, but she has my facial expressions and my personality for sure. Nathan on the other hand is a big boy and looks a lot like my baby pictures. he reminds me a lot of the boys on my side.

at the same time though, the kids look enough alike that you can tell that they are siblings.

All 4 of my kids look different and they always start off looking one way and then totally change.
Miranda as a baby looked exactly the way I looked. I think she will have more of my features, but we'll just have to wait and see. At least she's blond.
My oldest looks completely like DH, my DS looks like my dad, Isabelle looks a spitting image of my MIL and I guess Miranda so far looks like me. I am surprised that she is so fair with blue eyes considering how dark my DH is (he's Hungarian background on his dad's side), but I guess this time my genes won over.

I dunno, Omair definitely looks like your DH around the eye area and I think that after a few summers spent playing outdoors he will resemble him a whole lot more in his skin-tone. He's super cute btw! But, IKWYM about not expecting your child to look a certain way when you visualize then while they're in the womb..

My DD1 looks like a miniDH and my DS looks exactly like MY dad and DH has accused me (jokingly) of sleeping with the milkman. It seems to bother him quite a lot that Joe doesn't resemble him. And then Heidi looks a little more like DH but still resembles me A LOT. I call her "Combo-baby"

But based on the u/s I thought Heidi would look differently but then again I thought she was going to be a boy anyhow! Next time I want a boy baby that looks exactly like DH, so he can shut up!

That one always cracks me up. We have two kids with light hair. I won't quite say blonde, but way lighter than ours. Dh's hair is black and mine is pretty dark too.

All my kids look like their daddy, but Natalie I think has some of me too.
