I am so glad that we found someone to watch Ethan & Avery in our home. Some little rug-rat bit Ethan yesterday in daycare. Yes, I know it happens, but it's different when its your kid. Oh & the other kid bit him not once, but twice!!

I'm particularly annoyed because Ethan has been telling me that "Joey hurts me" every day. I went in & said something to the teacher & she blew me off, telling me they were friends & they just rough-house like boys do. Um, no. Ethan rough-houses with our neighbor (they knock each other over & roll around in the grass) & he NEVER tells me that she hurts him. Grrrrrrr.

Blah, that sucks. Why do I have this feeling Emmett is going to be the big bully biter? I WILL wire his mouth shut!

Glad you found a nanny!

Did you raise hell?! I would have mentioned the previous conversation you tried having with her. Poor little guy!

Glad you will be able to keep them at home soon. My sister had a very similar problem with daycare. Another child bit my nephew in the face and broke skin...UGH!

Augh. I put Noah in childcare at 18months and he got bitten basically every day. Some days I got told about it by the staff, other days I would be bathing him and see 2 or 3 bite marks on his back and neck. It was always the same little cannibal and I ended up having the child removed from the centre. The sad part is though, that following this my kid started biting because it's what he learnt from all the other kids. Yes it is normal behavior but it's awful and the staff should be watching more closely especially if it's the same kid hurting Ethan like he is telling you. Thankgoodness you are getting your kids out of that situation. It's so hard to go to work when you're worried about them.
