The hot or not thread got me thinking. What do you think of capri length pants for baby boys/toddlers?

DH can't stand manpris. I just realized that a pair of pants that I bought for Wyatt are the kind that you can roll up and fasten with a button to make then capri length. DH looked at them and said "I can't believe you bought him manpris!".

Although he may never wear them if it doesn't warm up here!

I dont have a boy, but if we did, DH would not let him wear manpris. LOL. Dh always laughs when he does see guys wearing them. I havent really see kids or toddles, but Im sure he wouldnt like it. I dont like them on grown men, but havent see in kids in them. Maybe they are cuter on kids?

I just asked DH if he would ever wear them.
"No. Never."
He also said they look "doofy" and he would never put them on his son, if we ever have one.

I dunno. I don't think I would buy them but I've had him in some pants before that were too short and sort of looked like capris and I didn't really mind. I don't know about on a toddler, though.

LOL! Thanks Holly! I don't think I've noticed men wearing those...I'll have to keep a look out!! I think the longer shorts are ok though, but when its longer, then it does look very feminine.

I'm sure they would be fine on a baby though!

These are the ones I bought.

Maybe they'll roll up to bermuda short length, or I could just wear them as pants. I'm so used to shopping for girls, that I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to boys clothes LOL!

As for manpris, I don't see them worn all the time around here, but occasionally I do.

To be perfectly honest, I prefer the manpris to men wearing skinny jeans.

I agree! DH was in Hollister the other day looking at jeans and he asked the salesgirl if skinny jeans were in style for guys. Her response? Well, probably not for your age sir. When he told me this I laughed my you know what off!

Um, no. As far as the roll-up ones, I would totally put Ethan in those if we were at the beach, but that's absolutely the only time. We often go to Myrtle Beach with my parents in October & they would be great for that time of year. DH would lose his mind if I put his little man in capris. Hahahaha.

My dh wouldnt be caught dead wearing manpris LOL but then again, he wont wear anything but Levis which includes Levi shorts.

No I wouldnt buy them or put them on Ty, but they might look cute on some toddler boys. I am not sure.

This is my first time buying for a boy too We have had 7 girls between my sister, brother and I, and Ty is the first and only boy. But after the 7 girls, its kinda fun to be sporty and casual rather than always frilly pink.

OMG, Josh used to wear those when I first met him - and I totally presumed he was gay until he tried to put a move on me. LOL

I would be ok with Luca wearing them, but not Noah.
