Lately Ty has about zero interest in his toys (except for a select few favorites he has). Instead of playing with toys, he is all about exploring! All he wants to do is crawl everywhere and pull up on everything. He has to be watched constantly. His areas are childproof but since he pulls to stand on chairs, corners of walls, glass doors, tv's etc, he could hurt himself when he falls, so someone must always be with him. He is fast too! I have to run to catch him before he is into something he shouldnt be. And the house is pretty clean since he doesnt care for too many toys right now

Anyone else just into exploring instead of toy playing?

Ohh yeahh.
The pot plant is just so much more interesting than the 43625 toys she has.
We have a baby gate on the way, it cant come quick enough.

Cabinet doors. She makes a beeline to them the second she's in the kitchen. And during baths, she's trying to get to the shampoo bottles instead of her bath toys.

Mine is very interested, maybe because she isn't mobile? She has figured them mostly all out now, knows which buttons to press, how to open them...I have to get her new toys!

He's more interested in his sister's toys! Them and doors. Anything that opens and closes keeps him busy forever. He will be at DD's toy kitchen forever just opening and closing the door on the fridge and stove. This morning I found him in the laundry room opening and closing the washing machine door (we always leave it open a bit to let it air out).

He has a train that he really likes and a couple books, but other than that if he can find a cord or string he wants to play with that, I think we've got them all put away but he always finds a stray one that dh gets out for something or one of the kids does. He also likes the older kids toys alot too. There is so much for him into right now since we are still unpacking a lot of stuff and need to buy some storage containers to put it all in nicely and out of the way.

Oh my gosh, I was about to post the opposite! All of a sudden Emmett has actually started "playing" and noticing his toys. It's great because he's not madly dashing all over the place (well, some of the time.)

Emmett has been mobile a lot longer than Ty has, so hopefully someday Ty will find his toys interesting again Right now he is at the "mad dash" stage

Sophie likes to throw things now. I don't know if she truly has it figured out or if she just gets lucky, but she throws her toys, laughs, and crawls to get them.

kenna loves balls. she's like a puppy. we'll toss or roll a ball and off she'll go squealing to retrieve it, brings it back and gives it to me. is that weird
