1. What do you do with them while you are showering?
Most days I can't get a shower and get dressed etc without him crying through most of it. He's tired of his jumpers etc. It makes it Such an unpleasant experience that I will just not shower some days.
2. How do you keep them entertained all day?
Now that he is awake so much more I am running out of ideas of things to do to keep him active and entertained. We don't go out a whole lot because that always seems to result in spending money but we do take a walk on nice days and I put him in the swing but there's still a lot of hours to fill up.

1. What do you do with them while you are showering?
I leave the door open and she usually crawls in there and stands by the tubs and watches me, other times she just plays with dd1 in her room. (My house is completely baby proofed, so Im not worried about her exploring, and I only have 2 steps down into rooms and she has that mastered).
2. How do you keep them entertained all day?
???? I dont, she usually just plays on the floor, plays in her or her sisters room, and explores the house. I do get on the floor and play with her, but most of the day they are off playing together. Like right now they are in her room playing with the doll house.

1. What do you do with them while you are showering?
My house is baby proof, so normally she will sit in the living room or her bedroom with Caden and play. They do really well together and Caden does an awesome job making sure she stays put! He is very responsible for a 4 year old! haha
2. How do you keep them entertained all day? She mainly entertains herself and plays with Caden. She is very independent so she is always off doing her thang!

I still try to fit it in during naps, but on the days when she's fighting naps, I just put her on the floor in her bedroom or in her crib with some toys and let her do her thing. I'm never in there for very long, and her room is baby proofed. I close doors to rooms that aren't safe.
Maggie still enjoys her jumper, but during the rest of the day I let her play with toys in the living room, explore the main floor. We sing and dance while she's in the jumper. She's definitely entertaining herself when I'm prepping meals or tidying up though.

1. What do you do with them while you are showering?
Normally when I'm working I shower before they are all awake. Now I'm on holiday, I either have a shower when DF gets home or I do it with the door open and Toby is there with me. Its rare that happens though
2. How do you keep them entertained all day?
Its much easier with older kids too I have to say. We go to the park a lot, especially now the weather is nice. We do activities like painting or baking. We play in the paddling pool. We watch DVDs together. Lots of things really

I put her in the exersaucer....once she is mobile I'll babyproof everything (actually, I should do that BEFORE she becomes mobile...maybe a weekend easter project?) and let her wander around my bedroom and bathroom.
As far as keeping her entertained...she plays on the floor with her toys but I do interact with her often, singing and dancing with her, reading her books...we take walks, and go shopping, probably a bit too much! And she has her baby gym class twice a week.

She isn't mobile yet so I either have DH watch her or set her in her chair that has the toys hanging down. Our shower door is clear so I set her just outside of the shower and talk to her while I'm in there. I don't know what I'll do when she's mobile.
As far as entertaining her goes, I need ideas. We have a nanny during the week but I run out of ideas just for the few hours per weekday plus weekends when I'm responsible for her!

1. What do you do with them while you are showering?
Normally I just take a shower when dh is home or when all the kids are laying down for nap/rest time.
2. How do you keep them entertained all day?
The kids entertain him lots, now that he's mobile, he finds lots of stuff to get into. He also still likes his jumper and lately he loves to just sit in his highchair. He also likes to sit on my lap and read books, go for walks when it's nice. He also does play by himself quite a bit.

Emmett HATES when I take a shower for some reason. I have tried everything, but as soon as I get in there and close the door (frosted, so he can see me) he screams his head off! (so weird because he is not really clingy.) So, I always take a shower while he naps. It sucks because on some days it doesn't happen. I must confess, this morning was the first time I took a shower after 3 workouts!!!!!!! I know, I'm so gross. But I just couldn't fit a shower in yesterday because he was crazy.
We don't have a lot of toys at all. Just one small tub. We go to the gym everyday which eats up 2 hours, feeding in various forms eats up another huge chunk of time. Other than that, he just wanders around sometimes playing with toys but often just checking out whatever is closest. He loves the kitchen cabinets right now. And cardboard (old paper towel rolls) and he likes standing at our glass front door looking out.

1. This sounds gross. But I don't shower very much anyway. But when I do it's when she is asleep or hubby is home.
2. And we play on the floor a lot. She likes to watch videos of herself.

Ok, since everyone is confessing, I don't shower that often either...the most is every other day.
The only day I make sure I shower is Saturdays, which is when I work.

I shower during his first nap during the week and on the weekends when my husband is home I shower whenever. I feel icky if I don't shower everyday so if he decides not to take that nap I put him in his exersaucer right outside the bathroom door. I won't be able to do that soon though, he's starting to walk.
He's very mobile so I let him explore the living room and dining room all day. Some days I take him for a walk and when it gets nicer out I plan on walking up to the playground with him. I really don't get out that much but somehow I find enough to do throughout the day I never get bored (and neither does he).

1-If I must shower and she's awake, she's coming in with me. I sit her at the back of the tub with a couple toys and speed through my scrubbing before she gets bored. Fortunately, this has only happened a couple times!
2- She likes exploring. So much stuff to get into, there's not enough hours in a day Her newest thing is computer keyboards.

So it sounds like the mobile babies are entertaining themselves a lot more than Kaiden is these days. He hasn't crawled but can pull up so he pretty much wants to either scoot around the furniture or for me toehold him up all day.
Plus he is such a mammas boy right now that he wants to climb all over me with his hands in my mouth and pulling my hair. I'm not complaining I just can't seem to find a way to keep him entertained without him wanting to be on top of me all the time. It's amazing how different he acts with Dad or his grandparents. He will play happily by himself for a long time but not when its just us.

- I either shower at night (when she's asleep) or I'll wake up before she wakes up and hop in the shower. It's really easy for me to time getting ready around her naps because she's a really good napper.
- She entertains herself really good and I am really liking this age because she is starting to play with her toys the way they should be played with. I mean she always played with them but she would like hit blocks on things or just pull up on stuff....NOW she's learned to hit all the buttons and gadgets so she's really into that now. I am also loving that she really likes musical toys (pianos, drums, maracas) the best. She also plays with the dogs really good, they are good sports about it thankfully

I shower every morning after my twins are up and I have them watch him for me. If I did not have the twins around to watch him, then I would wait until his first nap, and quickly shower.
As far as entertaining him, I dont really. He refuses to be contained at all so no walkers, exersaucers or jumperoo anymore. (we own them he just refuses to use them) so he just crawls around the bottom story of the house all day with me and Julia. I have the family room, kitchen and his room as baby proofed as they can be, (he still goes after the tv, and fireplace). He just goes from those 3 rooms all day long. I have a gate in the hallway so he cant get into Julias playroom, or the stairs or front entryway. I have the bathroom door and laundry room doors shut at all times. Julia plays with him a lot, and the twins will play with him if needed also. Though I find that a lot of the time no one will do but me, so I spend a good part of my day holding him, nursing him, etc. He is by far my most demanding baby....but oooohhh so adorable

1. What do you do with them while you are showering?
Rick's home a lot of mornings at the moment, though that wont always be the case. So we take it in turns to shower and if hes not here. Ill do it in Evie's nap or ill just bring her into the bathroom and sit her with her bath toys.
2. How do you keep them entertained all day?
I dont even really know. She plays on the ground a lot, sometimes she's go in her jolly jumper or exersaucer. We'll read books. Go for a walk, go out somewhere. Right now ive given her 'snack time' with finger foods to entertain her for a couple of minutes.

When i shower, i just put her in the jumperoo, swing, high chair or crib. If she cries and fusses, she cries & fusses until i am done.
As for entertaining her, Samantha helps a lot! She also crawls around playing with toys, sits in the swing and watches some Dora, crawls and gets into things, etc. Lol
