Someone I know is potentially getting rid of their double jogging stroller. I have a relatively new light-weight stroller but was thinking a jogger would be useful. We sort of live in the country and we are going camping this summer. Besides I've started working out at the gym and thought I would like to go out for a run with Wyatt in the nicer weather.

The problem is, I don't need a double. But I figure if the price is right, would it work out just as good? It would be only for outside, I wouldn't use it for the mall or anything. Or would I just look ridiculous with one child in a double stroller?

I'd get a double for a good price, is it a BOB?
My biggest complaint about my BOB is the basket space, so if you had a double seat you could strap stuff into the 2nd stroller. I totally would! LOL

I think its fine, everyone would just think you have another kid that isn't with you at the moment.

Yeah it is a BOB. She wants $100 for it. That what I was thinking about the second seat.

Ok, $100 for a double BOB is an AMAZING price!!!!! You know what I would do. I would buy the BOB from her and then look to trade with someone to get a single BOB (unless you are thinking of having more kids??)

People are always selling their single BOBs to buy a double BOB and so it should be easy to propose a straight trade, no $$ out of pocket on either side.

My only thoughts is that for running (versus walking), the double stroller gets more wind resistance and is a little bit harder to manage (although, again, BOB is top of the line.) I think you might be more inclined to get out there and run with a more streamlined single stroller.
