I know it's still a while away but Im already beginning to plan it.

Do you know what theme if any?

Have you began ordering/making/preparing?

Where will it be? (home, park, etc?)

Big party or little?

- We're still trying to decide on a theme
- Still working with the design lady for her decorations
- It's going to be on the "big" side
- It's going to be at our house.

Ben & Jerry's ice cream is catering (they bring a cart and a person to come scoop, it's really neat---but the best part is they clean up!) and we plan on having a candy bar, which is more for the adults than the kids since we don't (and nobody I know) lets their kids eat candy! I just think the candy bars look cool LOL

I think the theme might be like "Life is sweet" because for the candy bar we are going to do the goody bags with the stickers and I wanted to put on the table a little sign that said "Grab a bag, take some treats, enjoy the sugar, because life is sweet!"

Do you know what theme if any? Pink/Green Mod Monkey

Have you began ordering/making/preparing? Yes, Most of it can be bought of etsy.com, but Im making it, because it's so much cheaper. Some of those things on etsy are overpriced when I can make it for much much less.

Where will it be? (home, park, etc?) Will be at the fire stations community building but their is a park right beside it, so that works in case it rains.

Big party or little? Well, I think 1st birthday is a BIG deal, and I plan to go overboard, but just a little party. Just family, and a few friends with their kids. (I know that probably makes no sense, lol)

We won't be doing anything big, just immediate family since we know no one around here.

Soooo cute!

I totally stole the candybar idea from the girl who is doing the decorations
Event Planner and Designer

I wish I knew how to "make" stuff like you---those tissue puff balls and all of that stuff are probably really easy to make, I just SUCK at stuff like that.

We're going to do a pink/white/black/zebra type theme.

The party will be at my mom's house.

Invitations

Outfit

Still working on whether I'm going to do the cake, and cake bites, and food...that should be interesting though.

Ours is turning out to be a bit bigger than I originally anticipated. About 30 or so people will be invited. But I'm making it clear for all of the grandparents, adult friends who may or may not have kids, that it's byob and when dinner is served at 5:00pm, Maggie's party will give way to a grown up party for DH and I to celebrate that we survived our first year of parenthood!

Pink bows will be the theme. I've got the cake ordered, the invites are ordered. I'll also probably do a candy buffet for the grownups and older kids. We'll do simple burgers and hot dogs for dinner though. My mom asked me about decorations and I just sorta shrugged. I hadn't even really thought about that.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE that! The only problem is that you have to print it yourself, but it did give me ideas as far as colors. I love light blue with little girl stuff!

Umm..probably a BBQ. We will most likely be on vacation to my home in Nova Scotia..so it'll be a BBQ with my parents and my sister and her family (they'll be home at the same time). No invitations...probably no real decorations. It'll most likely turn into a party for us...beer and lobster east coast style!
