we're going to disney in october. we'll be in disney for 4 days and 6 days at the beach (west palm-dh's sister lives there)

our plane tickets for all 5 of us is a total of $40 bucks (taxes that's it, zach has a bajillion airline miles from traveling) and our disney tickets/hotel will cost around 2k. we're aiming to spend 3k total for everything.

Are you going on a vacation this summer? We are going to Outer banks NC. thats where we will be celebrating Desi's 1st bday! Im so glad she is walking b/c shes going to have so much fun at the beach!

In June, we are flying into Las Vegas for the weekend and then driving to Utah (where DHs family lives). While there, we are going to Zions National Park and the Grand Canyon!
In July, we are going to the beach to stay for about 4 nights for Emily's birthday.

We have been saving for this trip. We bought our plane tickets back in January with taxes (they were about 700 for two, since Emily is free). We are staying with his family once in Utah, so we are only paying for out hotel in Vegas and a rental car for the entire week, and i think it's like 350 for an suv.

Yes, we have taken a vacation each year since we have been married. Usually several, but since having Emily we are pretty broke

Are you going on a vacation this sumer? Probably not, if we do it will be a trip back to visit family. Or maybe a trip to see my Grandma since she's closer than the rest of my family.

Do you do a yearly vacation? We haven't since we had kids so it's been a while, unless you count the 5 mos we lived in FL last year.

How much are you willing to spend for travel/food/shopping expenses (may be too personal for some...I understand)? We would drive, I'd probably pack a picnic lunch and we'd be staying with family so probably the only expense we would have would be gas.

Where? How long? DH and I are going to New York City by ourselves for 4 days at the end of June. It's our 8th anniversary. We are also going camping in August with the kids.

Do you do a yearly vacation? Yes. We try to get away in the winter and the summer. This winter we went on a Disney Cruise.

How much are you willing to spend for travel/food/shopping expenses (may be too personal for some...I understand)? So far New York cost $1000 for flights and hotel. I'm sure we'll spend ALOT more when we are there!

I don't know if we're going to go on a vacay or not this year...it's been kinda bugging me. DH wants to do something simple like go to Charleston, SC for a few days. I want to do something major like go to San Francisco or something. He's so money conscious, and I'm just not, lol! I guess he just doesn't believe in spending money on vacationing, when we could be spending that on a car or student loans. Meh...we'll see what happens.
