Do you plan on having your little one off the bottle right at 1?

I did this with Caden who had no problems and he wasn't really attached to his bottle, but for some reason with London I'm alot more laid back and she absolutely LOVES LOVES LOVES her bottle. She turned 10 months on Sunday and it is happening way to fast!! haha I'm having a very hard time with progressing her to the next level, because she is my last.

I'm hoping to wean him off the bottle by one but I'm not holding my breath that it will actually happen. I'm hoping if it doesn't happen by then he'll only be taking one or two bottles at a day at that point.

I'm just glad he's never been a pacifier baby.

I'm kinda dreading this. Leah still isn't great at holding a sippy. She flat out refuses to hold her bottle. How are you guys' babies doing with holding their bottles/sippies? I've been pretty slack on giving her the sippy at each meal. I maybe give it to her once a week

I really want her to be off the bottle at 1....I think its fine for formula or breastmik but I don't want to put cow's milk or anything else in a bottle. But she's not great with a sippy...so we'll see. If she goes a little past 1 its not a big deal but I would love to have her off of bottles around then.

I actually put Sophie's bottles away last night. I don't pump anymore, I just nurse when she wants and always at bedtime. She drinks water from a sippy really good now.

I let Stella play with her sippy cup each day, but she still can't drink well out of it on her own. I just put water in it because she dribbles it all over herself.

That's awesome!! I'm so sick of bottles too!!! LOL I find myself thinking "Only 2 more months of formula/bottles!" more often than I think "Only 2 more months until she is 1!"

Ive had a lot of truble with sippy cups and I found she prefers HARD straw cups. Not the flexible silicone straws. She hates those. This is her favorite kind, but bad thing is they are no longer made!!!! Im hoping I can get her to take another kind soon. I've even looked online and can not find them anymore. They are munchkin brand.

Edit to add it's not a munchkin, it's a nuby. I accidentally had the nuby top pairs with a munchkin bottom. oops, oh well, but still, they dont make them anymore

Yes, please!! Ethan gave up the bottle sometime between 12 & 13 months & it was no problem. I found sippy cups that Avery really likes; she does great with water, but it seems to baffle her when I put her formula in them. They are the Nuby ones.

All of mine have been done with bottles by the time they turn 1. He's having a hard time with his sippy cup too, but he's getting there, he at least now knows that he's supposed to drink out of it.
