Just ordered an Ergo

I am so excited. I've wanted one forever and they are on babysteals.com today and I went ahead and ordered one. Got it for $65 so I figure I can easily resale it for that once I'm done with it.

Great deal. Have you ever used this brand before? I'm just curious because I want one to take on our vacation, but need it to be lightweight for the hot weather. Plus it has to tote a 1 year old.

im so so so tempted to get one, are they good for newborns? im thinking some sort of carrier is going to be a must for when the new baby comes

I have one and I love it! I'm sure you will love yours too!

Bree - You can order a infant insert for it and it can be used up until 5 months I believe. Alivia was only a month old when Keira started school last September and I used that to walk all the kids to the bus stop. She would fall asleep within minutes of being in it.

Kristy - I didn't find it to be hot at all. Although our summers aren't exactly scorching. I believe they go up to 40lbs so a 1 year old should fit quite nicely in it!

I'd love an Ergo but my husband has put the kaput on any more baby wearing items right now haha.

I love my mei tai now even more so because Bishop has taken to wearing so much easier then my other 2.

I want to get a Beco one, but just can't justify the expense right now. Going to have to wait. $65 is an awesome price for Ergo! I hope you love it.

I ADORE my Ergo...used it this morning, in fact. I used the infant insert with Claire, and it was a little warm in July/August...I preferred a sling for those days. Once I could ditch the infant insert, I really fell in love with the Ergo, and I couldn't live without it now. Congrats on the great deal...hope it arrives soon!

well you ladies sold me, now i need to wait for them to be back on baby steals! ive seen them on there a few times, hopefully i dont have to wait to long!
