There was another "Emmett" at daycare today! This was my first time meeting a kid in person with the same name! Only, they spell their's Emmitt, like the football player. I think Emmitt was about 6-7 months old.

Anyone else have kids with the same name in playgroups/daycare/friends kids?

I dont think I will run across another Thomas-Ty, but his nickname Ty is very common of course. And though we dont personally know any other Julias in her homeschool, girl scouts, activites, etc, Julia is a pretty common name.

I haven't met any little Arielle's yet but I noticed someone in another playgroup (I don't remember which one but its a few months behind us) had an Arielle. Also, after we decided on her name and spelling, I saw an episode of House Hunters ,where this couple had an 11 year old girl and she had the exact same name (spelled the same, it was spelled in letters over her bed), and then my SIL went to a restaurant and the waitress was named Arielle.

Noah is very common and hear it everywhere, my other ds is Keegan and we've heard it a couple other places before once we were at a playroom at Burger King and there were two other boys in there named Keegan it was strange. Miah we've run into a couple and most people when they see how it's spelled pronounce it Mia
Emilie is very common just not the spelling we used.

I met another JM mom from the NCB and cloth diaper board at the Great Cloth Diaper Change and her baby's name is Vincent. I also sold some of our baby stuff to a mom who had an older son named Vincent. But I don't really know anyone else who has a baby or kid named Vincent.

There's another Wyatt in this playroom, but I haven't met any IRL.

I've never met another Niya personally. But After we had named DD, my BIL's friend heard her name and they named their daughter Niya about a year later.

I've met lots of Ethans & our new nanny who starts on Wednesday has a daughter named Avory. We spelled it differently, but it was still funny (mainly because her name is Amanda). Weird!

Kristen: My friend's daughter is Addison McKenna. It's a family name for her... it was either her mom or grandmother's maiden name.

Liz: I thought of you the other day! We got a new guy at work & his name is Eddison. I thought "That's a different name & it starts with an "E". I'll have to tell Liz."

When I worked in a daycare/preschool, one of the babies I took care of from 6weeks to 15months, his name was Wyatt. LOVELOVELOVED that baby!! Great parents, great baby! His name fit him perfectly.
