I was wondering if anyone elses LOs were on nap strike.
The past 3 days Eva just refuses to nap, we've tried everything and then we need to go out and she passes out in the car straight away.
Thankfully she is still sleeping well in the night, 7pm-5 or 6am and then feeding and sleeping till 7-8am but im wondering if its cause shes exhausted.
I vaguely remember in my prenatal class the lady saying they have a growth spurt around this age? Anyone else heard that?
I was just seeing if anyone else was experiencing this.

Me! Oh my gosh, LO was rotten today. Screamed his head off whenever I attempted a nap. I eventually caved and let him sleep on the boob just because he was acting so crazy.

Also, Emmett actually ate more food than I did today (roughly what I imagine a teenage boy to eat) so I'm thinking growth spurt for sure.

The poor babysitter said he was CRAZY tonight too.

Oh, and he woke up in the middle of the night to eat last night too (only does that with a growth spurt usually).

Ty has been sleeping terrible at night the past week or so, but I attributed it to his first tooth he finally cut just today. He isnt that great of a napper to begin with, but today he was a monster all day. Once again I thought teeth but maybe its teeth and a growth spurt? He took a 2 hour nap this morning, then only slept 20 minutes the rest of the day until he went to bed at 7:30pm. He was a mess all day. He screamed even when he was nursing, while he was held, but it was worse if I tried to put him down then he really screamed...ugh, I was sooo glad when dh got home to help hold him! My arms were jello.

Anyway, I guess I am trying to say, Ty isnt napping well or sleeping well either.

Avery gave DH a really hard time yesterday about napping, but I chalked that up to her having some issues with the antibiotic she's on. I think the older babies get, the more interested in playing & being awake they are. So, I guess just keep trying & be consistant, hopefully she'll get back to her normal schedule when she realizes naps aren't optional.

My daughter has been sleeping a lot yesterday and looks like today too (thank goodness) BUT she's still as fussy as fussy can get. I know, I know, at least I'm getting a break! But I think she is teething (I felt at least 2 huge bumps in her gums, but who knows when they are going to cut through) AND going through a growth spurt. In the past couple of days, I really think if I kept feeding her the entire day, she would have kept eating. I can't say she ate more than me though because I've been a piggy lately. Maybe I'm a bad example for her!
