Does anyone have one? I really want to buy this for our trip, since dd will get tired and she is too big for a stroller, she can stand on the back. I don't know anything about Joovy but It's the only one I found with the extra long sunshade.
Amazon.com: Joovy Caboose Ultralight Stroller, Orangie: Baby

How much does Lily weigh? just curious because i did a quick check and the back seat/platform is meant to hold kids that weigh up to 45lbs
The family i used to nanny for had one of these and they are great for a baby and toddler, im not sure how well it would work for Lily though

She weighs 52 lbs. I will not be toting her around in it all day, just for her to take a break or stand on when she gets tired for a few minutes through out the day. Do you remember if theirs was easy to lift and lightweight like they say? I also like how it reclines all the way back and the sunshade is extra long for Tommy to nap in it if he wants.

it is pretty light weight, and its easy enough to get around with just the baby, but the back seat really doesnt look like it would hold more than 40-45lbs, all of her weight would be on the back wheel axel, and id worry about it bending.
when i used it the baby was around 2 and the older child was almost 4 and about 40lbs, when he was on the back it made moving it around a little harder.
I was going to say maybe get one of those wagons, they make them with sun shades, but that probably wouldnt be the best for Tommy when he naps
can you rent a double stroller there? the ones they have look like they are heavy duty and would hold Lily no problem

I can probably rent one but I don't want to be pushing her around all day...lol. I just thought It would give her a break since we will be out and about for 10+ hrs a day. If I get a double stroller she will want to be pushed...lol...she is 7 will be almost 8 and there is no way I am pushing her for more than 5-10 minutes at a time..lol. I might get it just for Tommy, it is the only stroller I've seen that completely reclines with a full sunshade, that is light weight.

oh ya i dont blame you for not wanting to push her all day long! That would get old pretty quick. i think you will like it, even if you only use it for Tommy. IMO it wasnt too much heavier than an umbrella stroller and maybe Lily will surprise you and want to walk, im sure disney is too exciting to sit for long!

I have a sit and stand but not a Joovy. I had it for Gage and Dane and Gage loved to be able to stand or sit when he wanted.
It folds up nicely, isn't that heavy at all. There is a compartment under where Dane sat (well now where Bishop would) and you could strap Gage in no problem to make sure he didn't slip and fall out. I still use it on walks today.
This is the one we have oh and it was pretty easy to assemble. We put it together in a parking lot haha. Baby Trend Sit N Stand Deluxe Stroller-Vanguard : Target

I was looking at that one Marisa. How far does the seat recline? I had a baby trend stroller with dd and really liked it.

It has two settings, one they sit straight up and then reclines a nice bit for comfort. I will have to put Bishop in it and take a photo for you.

I just sold my joovy this weekend, my issue was that my son would never stay on it. Whenever I stopped to look at something he was off and running. To answer your questions it is very light and stears very easily. I wish it would have worked for us because it is a great stroller.

What about getting a buggy board to attach to your existing stroller. It's probably cheaper that way. It's meant for standing though, not sitting. I use it for Isabelle, but she's only 35lbs. It's pretty easy to maneuver around and you can easily remove it when you are not using it.
When we went to Disney the first time my kids were 8 & 4 and we rented one of the push double strollers from the park. They are very sturdy and both kids were in it at times, because my DD is lazy also when it comes to walking. It was very handy for all the crap that we had to lug with us and it wasn't too expensive.

Kristy, I have 3 photos of him in it on my facebook. My husband killed our internet last night with a download so it's being so slow. I can't get it uploaded to photobucket right now.

Thanks so much for taking a picture of it for me. It looks like there is a ton of space in the back. I'm going to see if I can go into Target or Babies r us to try it out.

No problem! There is, the bottom spans between the baby seat and the older child seat and is fairly deep. We've crammed everything you need for an all day outing for 4 adults and at the time 2 kids. So it can hold a lot.

I am looking at those as well. Because for a while we can use the infant seat and I don't have to be worried right away with a big bulky double stroller..lol and then when LO gets a bit older I can get a lightweight normal double..lol

I haven't decided yet. I was wanted to take go to Target and try them out this weekend but got way to busy. I'm going to go this week sometime. I am probably going to go with the baby trend.
