What activity did you want to join as a child but your parents never signed you up for? Or allowed you to do.

I dont think i was ever not allowed to sign up or try something, I wish they didnt let me quit everything though

I know what you mean on quitting things, my parents never let me quit without a fight though. I make Lily follow everything through. If she wants to sign up for something, she has to finish that season or session. Then if she doesn't want to do it the next time around she doesn't have to. But she has to give it a chance.

My parents never let me sign up for cheer leading, not sure why since my younger sister was a cheer leader.

I was never denied signing up for anything I wanted to. I had to make a choice in gymnastics or dance. I had done dance when I broke my collar bone but after it healed I went back to gymnastics. I wish I could have done both but it wasn't feasible. I think I would have done better at dance though...lol Oh and I am so very thankful they let me quit band when they did.

My parents let me sign up for everything I wanted to try. I only signed up for sports because I liked the colours of their uniforms or my friends were playing. I was so not a sports girl! I loved my dancing out of everything I did.

Same, my parents never really said no but I always gave up too easily.

I wanted to do gymnastics when I was little. But being the youngest of 5 kids...there really wasn't much money for extra activities like that. Although they never denied us extra-curricular activities through school.

I always wanted to take ice-skating lessons, but the closest rink was about 90 minutes away and we didn't have a ton of money to do things like that. I remember being devastated at the time, but I'm pretty sure I didn't have the follow-thru to make it to the Olympics anyway
