These are Wyatt's favourite things to play with. He now knows that there is water in the toilet and likes to put his hand in and splash the water, eww ! He even tries to open the lid himself. Any type of door fascinates him. French doors, bedroom doors, doors on DD's play kitchen, doll house, etc. He will just open and close them over and over again. The funniest thing is that if we are playing in his room and I step out for a second, he immediately crawls to the door and closes it behind me. Kinda like saying "Stay out of my room, mommy". But then he gets upset because he can't open it again.

What "non-toys" does your LO like to play with?

Ew!!!

Well, my daughter hasn't been close enough to a toilet to find it interesting yet (one of the benefits of having a non-mobile child?)...she DOES like doors, but again, doesn't really get close to them that often.

Favorite non-toys are the usual...phones, remotes, keys...also sunglasses. Another reason I want to start wearing her on my back!

Yucky! Thats one of the main reasons I keep the bathroom door shut. She is never even near the toilet to even know how to open it.

Non toys are remotes, dvd cases, dog toys (yuck! I have to take them from her all the time) cords, phones, she is fascinated with shoe strings. LOL ummm..lots of non toys, but I guess I cant think of all them.

Same, but I've been in the habit for a while because our Weimaraner will try to drink from the toilet (GROSS!!!)

Sophie likes Bella's dog bowl. It's usually empty (Bella never leaves food behind! haha) so she'll try to roll it and throw it. She also likes the remotes, so we got a Sesame Street remote and sat it next to the real ones. She always thinks she's got a real one so she thinks it's so funny, haha

We keep the bathroom door shut as well, but as soon as someone opens it, she rushes towards it (like she knows its a no-no to go in there). She also likes remotes, dog toys, sunglasses, keys, etc.

we only have one bathroom downstairs and it's our master so she'd have to go through our room, through the sink area and into the bathroom to get to the toilet. she doesn't get that far without me knowing she does love the doors and will open and shut them too. weird? she also is a freak about magazines. she used to tear them to shreds but now will turn the pages over and over. she also likes shoestrings like Kai and anything that's her brother or sisters.

We play in the bathroom all the time! I thought everyone did. LOL. It's only upstairs that it's a problem. He's usually in our room when I'm getting ready and I'm in and out of the ensuite, so he sneaks in there. He also tries when we're getting his bath ready. Fortunately he can't get to the main floor powder room because the gate prevents this.

We have a one level home and the bathroom is down the hallway, I always have a gate up blocking that part of the house. I can't close that door because the cat's litter pan is in the bathroom. Our second bathroom is our master bathroom and neither kid is allowed in our room unless they are in our bed with us.

Caleb isn't very moble but anything he finds goes into his mouth. I have dug so many objects out of his mouth that I have lost track. He also like to play with my necklace and sunglasses. If he's on my back he plays with my hair.

We keep the bathroom door shut. I'm mostly worried about the drowning hazard, but ewww on playing in it! Her big thing is stray shoes and the outlet safety plugs, which she crawls to, sits down, smiles and starts fooling with because she knows we will immediately come running.
She found her sisters Easter candy stash and succeeded in chewing up and swallowing one or two pieces before we could get them out!

Remotes, cords, phones, boxes, paper, and anything he's not supposed to have.

Often Emmett is in the bathroom too while I'm trying to grab a shower or get ready. He loves to unroll the toilet paper and flush the toilet (hasn't opened it yet). He also can now reach up to the back of the toilet and know the trash can off (where I put it to keep it from him.) He then tears all the towels down.

He loves the door stoppers in our house. They are those metal spring ones that make a loud BOING sound. He constantly hits them. E also likes any type of door/drawer/cabinet.

Other favorites: socks and my headbands.
